What is RRB Exam?

RRB Group D Exam

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts the RRB Group D exam to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical, and S&T departments), Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Assistant Pointsman, and other posts in various departments of the Indian Railways. This year, RRB Group D exam notification is expected to be released anytime soon. This is the lowest level of exam among all railway exams which allows students who have passed grade 10 (secondary schooling) to apply for government jobs in Indian Railways.

RRB NTPC Exam

RRB NTPC stands for Railways Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories. It is to recruit eligible candidates in the Indian railways for non-technical work. The exam is conducted for two levels – Undergraduate (12th passed) and graduate level. Both levels offer different posts in the Indian Railways, different salaries, eligibility, etc. Those who wish to apply for the RRB NTPC can check the link attached above.

RRB ALP Exam

The full form of RRB ALP is Railways Recruitment Board Assistant Loco Pilot. The last recruitment for the Railways ALP was done in 2018. We will update you if any notification of RRB ALP will be out by the board. Candidates of the age limit 18 – 28 years (without considering age relaxations) can apply for the exam. 10th-passed candidates can also apply for this railway exam from the official website of RRB.

RRB Exam Syllabus

One of the most popular exams for undergraduates, RRB NTPC Exam is conducted in three stages: CBT 1, CBT 2, and Skill Test/Typing Test. The first stage is a computer-based test consisting of multiple-choice questions from 3 subjects, including General Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning.

Candidates who clear CBT 1 are eligible to appear for the CBT 2, which is also a computer-based test. The CBT 2 is divided into two parts, and aspirants must pass both parts to appear for the last stage i.e. Skill Test which is conducted as per the requirement of the position applied for. The RRB Group D Exam attracts a myriad of candidates for its highly prestigious job profile, henceforth, poses cut throat competition. It is conducted in four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination.
