RBI Assistant eligibility is considered as a basic requirement for the aspirants to check whether they are eligible to apply for the exam or not. RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2022

RBI Assistant eligibility 2022 is released with the latest notification. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will only be allowed for further courses of action. Students who fail to meet the eligibility requirements will lead to disqualification without any further consideration. The RBI Assistant eligibility criteria will help you to determine whether you are eligible for the post or not. The eligibility criteria is based on a few important factors that we are describing below.

RBI Assistant Age Limit Criteria

RBI Assistant age limit criteria include the minimum age and maximum age limit. Candidates not falling in the age limit range will not be allowed to participate in the selection process.

A) The minimum age of the RBI Assistant should be 20 years and the maximum age is 28 years as on 1st December 2021.

B) This eligibility means that the candidate should not be born earlier than 2nd December 1993 and not later than 1st December October 2001 in which both the dates are inclusive.

C) Only if the candidate is born in between the years mentioned above then only he/she is eligible to apply for RBI Assistant 2022 exam.

RBI Assistant Age Relaxation

There is also relaxation in the upper age limit for RBI Assistant 2022 exam based on the following:

(vii)Candidates having work experience in the Reserve Bank of IndiaTo the extent of the number of years of such experience, subject to a maximum of 3 years.

NOTE: Cumulative Age Relaxation will not be available either under the above items or in combination with any other items.

Candidates seeking age relaxation need to submit copies of the necessary certificate(s) at the time of the interview.

RBI Assistant Educational Qualification

Candidates must first ensure the RBI Assistant qualification requirements before going into the steps of applying for the exam. There are different aspects of educational qualification for RBI Assistant that you need to go through in detail.

  • The Candidate is supposed to have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline as on 1st December 2022 with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on Personal Computer (PC).
  • If a candidate is belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) then he/she should either be a graduate from a recognized University or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and rendered at least 15 years of defence service.
  • Candidates applying for a post in a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e. know to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state or any of the states he/she is applying from.
  • Candidates, who are in the final semester/year of graduation can also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview/joining, they will have to produce proof of having passed the Graduation Examination on or before 1st December 2022.

RBI Assistant Eligibility: Nationality

Under RBI Assistant nationality criteria, only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for the post of RBI Assistant exam. This is one of the benefits for the students as the competition is not at an international level.

Number of Attempts for RBI Assistant

Number of Attempts is another criteria which is considered in most of the Banking exam. However, most of the exams don't support this criteria to apply for the exam. As the RBI Assistant exam is of Clerk level so the total number of attempts are not counted for this post. The authority has not defined any fixed number of attempts for this.
