NMAT 2023 exam dates will be announced soon by GMAC on its official website. It is one of the most popular MBA exams in India and the key gateway for NMIMS to study MBA. Following the trends, NMAT 2023 will be held in the 75-day window from October 2023 to December 2023. So, if you wish to join NMIMS to study MBA must start your preparation for the upcoming NMAT Exam 2023 now.

It is important to note that candidates who will appear in NMAT in 3 times are ineligible to register for the additional window. This means that candidates who will take the NMAT 2023 and the two retakes will not take the exam again for this session. Besides, NMAT Exam slots are also restricted and can be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All the slots in online proctored exams at home will be offered on specific dates during the testing period.

The NMAT is available at a restricted number of exam centres. The total exam duration is 20 minutes, in which the candidates have to answer 108 questions in total. What is NMAT Exam?

The NMIMS Management Aptitude Test, abbreviated as NMAT, is conducted by GMAC every year in October-December in a 75 days exam window. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies originally administered this MBA Exam until GMAC took it over. NMAT 2023 Selection Process

The NMAT Selection Process includes an online exam that is held over an 88-day period. After releasing the NMAT score and percentile, candidates can apply to individual colleges for further GD rounds and Interviews for final selection. Who is Eligible for NMAT?

Candidates who wish to appear for the upcoming NMAT must know its eligibility criteria. The basic eligibility is graduation from a recognized college or its equivalent. NMAT Age Limit

As per the official updates by GMAC, there is no upper age limit to take part in NMAT 2023. Candidates with prior work experience are preferred. NMAT Age Limit does not prescribe an upper age limit.

NMAT by GMAC Educational Qualification

NMAT 2023 qualification specifies that the candidate must hold a graduate degree of 10+2+3 or 4 years. The graduation stream can be any; however, the educational qualification percentage is a minimum of 50% aggregate. Applicants in the final year of graduation and waiting for their results can also apply for NMAT. Candidates must check each participation institute's educational eligibility criteria before applying. Each college or university has different educational criteria.

  • NMAT Work Experience: Candidates with 2-3 years of prior work experience are favoured throughout the final selection process of the NMAT 2023. Candidates with no prior work experience are also welcome to apply. However, work experience is not mandatory.

  • Click on ‘Register Now’ under quick links.
  • Register using the information asked, such as name, a valid email id, and mobile number, and choose a password. After submitting the details, you will receive an email regarding the login details.
  • Log in to access the NMAT by GMAC registration form and complete the application form with the correct details.
  • Choose the NMAT college and university names you wish to apply for under the "Schools Preference" section. You can choose up to 5 programs or schools. You can pay an additional fee for adding more colleges.
  • Upload the scanned photograph & digital signature. Size should not exceed 1 MB.
  • Click on “Submit”, and a unique NMAT registration number will be displayed.
  • Pay the NMAT Exam fees to complete the process.

The candidates must note that after completing NMAT 2023 registration, the rescheduling option will be enabled on the website. To reschedule NMAT Exam Date, the candidates have to apply for the exam reschedule option less than 72 hours from the date and schedule of the exam. NMAT 2023 rescheduling can be done on the same dashboard as the prior application.

How to Schedule for NMAT by GMAC?

After NMAT registration, you can schedule yours as per the official schedules mentioned by GMAC.

  • Visit your dashboard after logging in to your NMAT 2023 account.
  • After successfully paying your NMAT fees, go to the 'Schedule Exam' option.
  • Activate the functionality to schedule your NMAT Exam Date 2023 and time.
  • The admit card for NMAT can be downloaded from your dashboard.

Process of Rescheduling NMAT 

In select cases, NMAT aspirants may be able to reschedule their exam if they have an emergency. You can postpone your NMAT Exam to a later date if you have pre-booked a slot and cannot keep to that timetable. However, you cannot be able to reschedule your NMAT to the previously scheduled date. The rescheduling NMAT 2023 fee is Rs 1200, including taxes.

NMAT Retake 2023

Candidates can retake the NMAT 2023 twice after the first attempt. GMAC allows up to 3 attempts with a 15-day gap.

  • After taking the NMAT Exam, your student dashboard will activate the option to retake the test.
  • You have to be required to pay the Rs 2300/- retake fee for every try.

NMAT 2023 Cut Off

NMAT cut-off marks are determined by individual participation institutes. Each NMAT college releases its own seat of cutoffs for various courses and categories.
