SSC GD Apply Online 2022-23: GD Constable Online Form Link, Steps, Fee

The process of SSC GD apply online began on 27 October 2022 at the official website of SSC for the candidates who satisfy the eligibility parameters required for General Duty Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. The SSC GD application form comprises two parts for new candidates, Part I is the registration, and Part II is the application form. There are two parts of the SSC GD application form 2022 for the new candidates who have not registered on the SSC website. The candidates already registered on the SSC website have to fill out the application form only. Here are the steps to apply for SSC GD 2022. The last date to apply for the exam has not been announced yet, but candidates must register before the deadline.

SSC GD Constable Registration

The SSC GD Constable 2022 registration process is for those candidates who do not have the registration number and password. This is a one-time registration that has to be done by all the candidates who wish to apply for SSC Exams. 

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC. Click on the ‘New User Register Now' link on the right side of the SSC homepage.

Step 2: A new page will be displayed on the screen as you click on the ‘New User Register Now’ link.

Step 4: Fill up all the details in the SSC GD Constable 2022 registration form and set the password. Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page.

Step 5: Once you have registered successfully, you will receive a registration number on your email ID and contact number. 

Step 6: You can fill in the additional details in the next step.

Step 7: Upload your scanned photograph and signature.

Step 8: Once the SSC GD Constable 2022 registration process is complete, you can change your basic details as well.

Part II: SSC GD Application Form 2022

You must log in with your SSC GD Registration number and password to fill out the SSC GD Constable 2022 application form. Here are the steps to fill up the SSC GD Online form 2022.

Step 1: Visit the official SSC website and locate the SSC GD apply online link.

Step 2: Enter your SSC Registration number and Password on the right side of the SSC homepage.

Step 3: Select the ‘Apply’ link for SSC GD Constable 2022.

Step 4: Upon clicking on the SSC GD Apply Online link, you will have to fill in the details to apply for SSC GD Constable 2022.

Step 5: Enter your personal details, educational qualifications, and other details.

Step 6: You need to select the exam center for SSC GD Constable as well as per your preference in three cities of that region.

Step 7: Further, select your domicile state/UT and district of domicile.

Step 8: You also need to give preference to CAPFs/Organizations.

Step 9: Once you have entered all the details, you need to upload your recent passport-size photograph with the date and signature. 

Step 10: Lastly, pay the required amount of the application fee for the SSC GD Constable 2022 exam.

Step 11: Take a printout of the SSC GD Constable application form 2022 for future reference.

SSC has issued a new facility for the SSC GD apply online process where candidates can apply through its Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance (UMANG) application. Here's how you can apply through UMANG App:

• Download the UMANG app from Google Play Store (for Android Users) or iTunes (for iPhone Users)
• On successful installation, click on the ‘I accept terms and conditions
• Register yourself by providing a valid mobile number
• Provide your personal and academic details 
• Upload your photograph, signature, and relevant documents

Note: All documents uploaded in the UMANG app can be saved in the Digi Locker.

You need to pay the required amount of the application fee for the SSC GD Application form 2022, as mentioned below. You can pay the fee through the online mode or offline at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.

There are certain documents that candidates must keep handy while filling out the SSC GD application form. Without these documents, you won't be able to submit your forms. Listed below are the documents required for SSC GD apply online.

• Aadhaar Card Or (Voter ID Card, PAN, Passport, Driving License)
• Bank Details for Online Application Fees Submission 
• Left-hand Thumb Impression

Specifications in SSC GD Apply Online 2022

While uploading the photograph and signature, the applicants must keep specifications in their mind, or else their form will not be submitted.

If you forget your password or registration number for SSC GD online form, then you can follow the steps that are given below to retrieve the password.

Step 1: Click on the ‘Forgot Password’ option on the SSC website.

Step 2: The following screen will be displayed on the screen.

Step 3: Select your permanent state, email ID, or registered mobile number.

Step 4: Click on the Submit button.

Step 5: Enter your mobile number OTP or Email OTP that is sent and Captcha as displayed in the screenshot below for your understanding.

Step 6: In this step, your registration number will be displayed, and you can set your new password here.

Step 7: This way, you can get back your SSC registration number and your password.

Applicants are advised to submit their SSC GD online form much before the last date to avoid the last-minute hassle or any technical glitch. No forms will be accepted after the last date under any circumstances as the commission will not be responsible for the candidates not being able to submit their applications due to aforesaid reasons or for any other reason beyond its control.
