The GATE Syllabus will be formulated and released by the exam conducting authority on their official website fr the GATE Exam 2023. Every year the exam is conducted by one of 8 organizations i.e., IISc Bangalore and seven IITs, and hence decide the GATE syllabus for that year accordingly. GATE 2023 syllabus will be released by IIT Kanpur on the official website for CSE, EEE, ME, Civil, and other 25 disciplines. Like the previous years, the GATE syllabus for General Aptitude is going to be kept common for all papers with a 15% weightage and the rest of the syllabus will vary according to the paper opted by the aspirants.

The GATE syllabus compiles the list of topics taught in the undergraduate engineering courses. In 2022, around 711K engineering graduates from universities and engineering colleges appeared for the exam. This year, no new changes are expected to be introduced to the GATE 2023 syllabus, however, two new subjects were added last year i.e., Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering, and Geomatics Engineering. GATE Syllabus 2023

GATE syllabus is an essential part of the preparation for the upcoming GATE exam and will carry all the topics on which the exam paper will be based. A deeper and clearer understanding of the GATE 2023 syllabus will help candidates plan their preparation strategy effectively. The GATE Agriculture Engineering syllabus carries 7 major sections. Engineering Mathematics is the common section and carries 13% of the exam weightage for this discipline as well. IISc and 7 IITs conduct the GATE Exam, and the syllabus covers only the topics required for higher studies. In contrast, the UPSC conducts the IES Exam covering the complete Engineering syllabus.
