CTET Eligibility is determined by the National Council of Teacher Education. The eligibility criteria include various factors like age limit, educational qualification, qualifying marks, and other factors.

CTET eligibility is the basic requirement that a candidate needs to fulfill in order to appear for the exam. It is formulated on the basis of the nature of the exam. CTET Eligibility 2024

CTET Eligibility was revised for both papers. Candidates currently admitted or undergoing Teaching Training Courses (TTC) can apply for the CTET exam. Revised CTET Eligibility

  • Candidates who are enrolled in a Teaching Training Course (TTC) are considered "Pursuing" and are eligible for the exam.
  • Candidates whose appointment has been challenged may take the CTET exam.
  • Candidates must have a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% or equivalent and a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
  • To get the job, candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements set by the appropriate agency or recruitment body, such as Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan or Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.
  • A CTET certificate does not guarantee that candidates will be recruited. It is a prerequisite for teacher positions.

CTET Eligibility 2024 for Paper 1

CTET Eligibility Criteria For Paper 2

Candidates applying as teachers for classes 6th to 8th in government schools must first check the CTET Paper 2 eligibility. It is important to meet the basic educational qualification required to apply for paper 2. The CTET Eligibility 2024 for paper 2 is mentioned below:

CTET Age Limit 2024

As per the CTET age limit the minimum age to apply for the exam is 18 years. However, there is no maximum age limit specified to take the exam. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be eligible for age relaxation as per government rules. So, candidates who fulfill the CTET age limit criteria can apply for the exam.

CTET Eligibility 2024: Nationality
