UGC NET 2024: Notification for June 2024 Exam- Check Exam Date, Application Date, Result Date

UGC NET 2024: The Notification for UGC NET June 2024 is out. The  UGC NET 2024 exam will be on 18th June 2024.

There will be 83 subjects included in the UGC NET Exam. Candidates must complete Paper 1 and Paper 2 in a single duration of three hours. Earlier it was supposed to be held on 16 June 2024. However, it will now be held on 18 June 2024.

How to Download the UGC NET 2024 Admit Card?

The reservation policy of the Government of India is applied to UGC NET exam. According to the reservation policy, the Central Universities and Institutions that are deemed to be Universities follow the below reservation criteria:

• 10% of the seats are reserved for the category General-Economically Weaker Section (GEN-EWS)
• 15% of the seats are reserved for the category Scheduled Caste (SC)
• 7.5% for the category Scheduled Tribe (ST)
• 27% for the category Other Backward Classes belonging to the Non Creamy layer”(OBC-NCL)
• Each category has 4% reservations horizontally for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as defined in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (RPwD Act, 2016).

The UGC NET 2024 exam pattern will consist of Paper 1 and Paper 2. As per the prescribed UGC NET exam pattern, both papers contain multiple-choice questions.
