RRB Group D 2022 date for document verification has been announced by the authorities. The DV for RRC Mumbai will be conducted from January 30 to February 8, 2023. RRB Group D is a national-level exam conducted to recruit eligible candidates for various posts such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical and other departments of Indian Railways. RRB Group D 2022

The Railway Recruitment Board has announced RRB Group D 2022 Result on 22 December 2022. The RRB Group D Result has been released by the board along with category-wise RRB Group D cut off on its official website. The candidates who appeared in this examination can now check their result via the direct link mentioned below. Those who have clear this stage will be asked to appear for the next stage of the selection process i.e. Physical Efficiency Test.

Staff Selection Commission of India has announced SSC CHSL 2022 Tier-1 Result on 04th August 2022. The SSC CHSL Tier 1 Result has been released by the Commission along with category-wise SSC CHSL Tier 1 cut off marks on its official website. The RRB Group D 2022 answer key is released for the Railway Group D exam on its official website on 14 October 2022. Before the month of July 2022, the board was planning to conduct the exam on 23 February 2022. Along with the postponement of the exam date, the RRB released a notice mentioning the new CBT 2 exam pattern, as per which the board was planning to introduce CBT 2 in RRB Group D 2022 exam. However, recently, the board released an official statement stating that no second stage CBT will be conducted for CEN RRC (Level-1).

RRB Group D Exam Date

RRB Group D exam date for CBT 1 has been rolled out by the Railway Recruitment Board. The board is all set to conduct the CBT 1 for Phase 5 from 06 to 11 October 2022 and phase 4 from 19 September to 07 October. The exam for Phase 1 was conducted from 17 to 25 August 2022, phase 2 from 26 August to 08 September 2022, and phase 3 exam from 08 to 19 September 2022. RRB Group D 2022 Eligibility

The eligibility for RRB Group D inform you about the parameters required to fill out the application form. The eligibility criteria comprise the age limit, educational qualification, and nationality. We have provided the eligibility needed for RRB Group D 2022 below for your understanding as mentioned in the official RRB Group D Notification.

  • RRG Group D Qualification: Candidates who have cleared 10th grade from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or have been issued a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT are eligible.
  • RRG Group D Age Limit: Candidates who fall in the age group of 18 to 33 years as of 1st July 2019 are eligible to apply for RRB Group D. Age relaxations are also allowed for some specific categories.
  • Nationality: To meet the eligibility criteria, a candidate must be a citizen of India/ a subject of Bhutan or Nepal/Tibetan refugee who came to permanently settle in India before 1st January 1962/or a person of Indian origin migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire, and Vietnam intending to settle in India permanently.

RRB Group D Age Limit

To be eligible for the RRB Group D, every applicant must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility conditions. The most basic requirement to apply for the RRB Group D exam is the age limit. It ensures that the applicants fall in the recommended age bracket and failing to do so can lead to disqualification. The RRB Group D age limit is from 18 to 33 years as of 1st July 2019. However, this age range doesn’t apply to certain categories who are eligible for age relaxations.

As per the age relaxation criteria provided by RRB, candidates belonging to reserved categories such as OBC Non-creamy layer, SC, and ST can enjoy relaxation on the upper age limit. While the age limit is 33 years for the Unreserved category, for the OBC NCL and SC/ST categories, it is 36 and 38 years, respectively. Some other reserved categories, like Ex-servicemen, PwBD, widows, etc., are also entitled to age relaxations under the RRB Group D age limit.

  • Visit the official website of RRB.
  • On the homepage, you will find a link to download admit card for RRB Group D 2022. Click on it.
  • You will be redirected to a new webpage. Enter your login details.
  • Your admit card for CBT 1 exam will appear on the screen. Download and save it.

RRB Group D Apply Online

Aspirants who are interested in joining the Railway Recruitment Board are required to fill out the application form for RRB Group D. Since the Board has concluded the RRB Group D 2022 recruitment cycle, the apply online option is not available currently. However, aspirants must know the process to apply for future recruitment drives. It is of utmost importance to know the RRB Group D apply online process to avoid any hassle at the last moment. Candidates who fail to fill out their application process in the right way, their forms will not be accepted and they won't be allowed to appear for the RRB Group D exam.

For the previous cycle, the application forms were released on 12 March 2019, when the exam was to be held on 17 August 2022. Candidates just had to pay a nominal fee to apply for the exam and successfully register. Moreover, the application fee can differ for different categories. For UR (unreserved) category, the application fee is Rs. 500/- and for the reserved categories (SC/ST/PwD/Females/Ex-Servicemen/Transgender/Minorities/EWS), the application fee is Rs. 250. However, as per the latest announcement by ex-Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, the candidates who will appear in the Railway Group D exam for Level 1 will get their fees refunded by the Indian Railways. The reserved category will get a 100% refund, while the General category will get Rs 400 out of Rs. 500 as the refund.

RRB Group D 2022 Selection Process

Learning the RRB Group D selection process is the first step that an aspirant must follow before applying for the exam. RRB Group D Physical Efficiency Test

The candidates who will clear the CBT of RRB Group D 2022 will be called to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The RRB Group D PET varies for the male and female candidates. Let us see the criteria to be fulfilled by male and female candidates to qualify PET of RRB Group D.

RRB Group D 2022 Document Verification

RRB has recently changed its document verification process. Earlier, more candidates were invited for document verification than the final vacancies. Authorities have changed this ratio to 1:1 meaning now the candidates invited for document verification are equal to the number of vacancies released by RRB. The list of documents required to be shown for the RRB Group D 2022 are as follows:

  • High School Examination Certificate or Equivalent (as Proof for Date of Birth and Matriculation Qualification)
  • 10+2 Certificate or Equivalent
  • Aadhar Card Original along with a Photocopy of both sides
  • NCVT (National Council of Vocational Training) or CVT (State Council of Vocational Training) Certificate or equivalent Diploma
  • Caste Certificate (As applicable for those applying under Reserved Categories)
  • Income Certificate (As applicable for those applying under the EWS category)
  • Medical Certificate (As applicable for those applying under the PwD category)
  • Death certificate of Spose and Affidavit of no remarriage (As applicable for those applying as Widows under the prescribed category)
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates who are already serving somewhere else.

RRB Group D Salary is an essential parameter considered by the candidates before applying for the exam. According to the revised 7th pay commission, the starting salary of RRB Group D is in the range of Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900. However, the salary of track maintainer is a bit higher than the other posts.
