CTET December 2021 Exam

CTET 2021 Notification: The CTET Application Form Correction 2021 link has been closed on 3rd November 2021. While the CTET Mock Test 2021 link has been released earlier. Now soon the CTET 2021 Admit Card will be released for CTET 2021 December exam. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already released the CTET 2021 exam date on its website. CBSE will be conducting CTET 2021 from 16th December to 13th January 2021.

CTET Notification 2021

CTET 2021 brochure has been released by CBSE on the CTET official site. The notification has been released for the CTET December exam at www.ctet.nic.in on 20th September, Monday. The interested and eligible candidates can apply for CTET 2021 from 20th September to 19th October 2021.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) exam is a national recruitment process conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education to appoint skillful teachers for Primary Level & Upper Primary Level posts. Candidates are selected through an online computer-based test (CBT). Read on to gather more information on CTET 2021 exam for the December session. 

About CTET December 2021

CTET is a national-level exam for recruitment in teaching profiles. The exam is taken by lakhs of aspirants to be certified as a government teacher. CTET exam consists of two papers i.e., Paper 1 & Paper 2. Candidates who qualify for CTET Paper 1 are eligible to teach Class 1st to Class 5th and the candidates who qualify Paper 2 can teach 6th to 8th Class students. To teach the students of Class 1st to class 8th students, candidates are required to qualify for both Paper 1 and Paper 2.

CTET application form 2021 process for December 2021 session has been closed now. We hope that you must have filled the application form for CTET December 2021 exam.

How to apply online for CTET 2021 exam?

  • Visit CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.
  • Click on the link “Apply Online”.
  • Fill all the details in the Application Form
  • Write down Registration No. and Application No for future reference.
  • Upload Scanned Images of your latest Photograph and Signature
  • Pay CTET Exam Fee through e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking
  • Print the final page for future reference.

CTET 2021 December Application Fee

Candidates with the General and OBC category will have to pay Rs. 1000 either for Paper I or Paper II. For both Papers, the fee requirement is Rs. 1200/. The SC/ST/Diff. The abled person needs to pay only Rs. 500 for either Paper 1 or Paper II. The application fee applicable for Both papers is Rs. 600 for these categories.

CTET Eligibility Criteria 2021

The applicant needs to fulfill the below-mentioned requirements in order to appear for CBSE CTET 2021 July exam. Please note that the CTET eligibility criteria depend purely on the Class for which the candidate is applying for:

Note: As per the latest notification, B.ed candidates are also eligible to fill the CTET 2021 application form. (Check CTET Revised Eligibility)

(i) Primary Level

Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education.

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

(ii) Upper Primary Level

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or it's equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

CTET Validity Increases to Lifetime from 7 years. The validity of the CTET Certificate for all categories is now lifetime however earlier, it was Seven (7) Years from the date of result declaration. For more, you can check out the importance of CTET certificates and its validity.

CTET 2021 Salary Structure

With a CTET certificate, you can apply for Post-Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), or Primary Teacher (PRT), while the basic pay of CTET certified teachers is between ₹ 9,300 to ₹ 34,800. The CTET in-hand salary can go up to ₹ 48,000/ Month.

CTET Admit Card 2021

CTET Exam 2021 exam date will be out soon and the CTET July Admit Card will be released 10-15 days before the exam date on the official site. Candidates need to enter their CTET login details to download their CTET Admit Card for the July session. We will update the direct link above to download the CTET 2021 Hall Ticket. 

Steps to Download CTET July 2021 Admit Card

  • Visit the official website of CTET exam- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
  • Click on 'CTET July Admit Card' tab
  • Enter Registration number and Password (date of birth)
  • Submit and download your CTET Hall Ticket 
  • Now take a print out of your admit card

Keeping in mind the social distancing norms due to the Coronavirus pandemic, CTET 2021 exam date latest news also clarifies that there has been an increase in CTET Exam centres. The total number of CTET Exam centres has now been increased to accommodate fewer students in one centre due to social distancing. CTET 2021 Latest news suggests that the number of CTET Exam centres has now increased from 112 to 135. 

How to change the CTET Exam Centre?

Follow the steps given below to change your CTET Exam Centre:

  • Open the official website of CTET-  ctet.nic.in
  • Select the tab which says Exam centre correction
  • Enter your CTET login details like your registration number and password along with the security code.
  • Select Correction on the Application Form link
  • Read the instructions and check the ‘I Agree’ box to proceed
  • Change your priority order of the CTET Exam centres
  • Enter the security code and submit it after making the final review.
