CAPF AC Eligibility Criteria 2022: UPSC has announced the CAPF eligibility criteria 2022, along with the notification. On the official UPSC website, the eligibility criteria for UPSC CAPF 2022 is updated now. The UPSC CAPF eligibility criteria 2022 include a minimum CAPF Assistant Commandant age limit, educational requirements, nationality, and age relaxation, among other things. Before completing the application form, all applicants must check their eligibility for the CAPF exam. CAPF AC Eligibility 2022

CAPF AC eligibility criteria 2022 is officially notified by the Union Public Service Commission. The Commission organizes this examination every year to recruit Group A officers in the post of Assistant Commandant to be posted in seven Police organizations throughout India. Applicants must check the detailed eligibility criteria before applying for the CAPF Assistant Commandant 2022 exam to avoid hassle or ordeal at later stages.

CAPF Assistant Commandant Age limit Criteria

According to the CAPF eligibility criteria 2022 the candidates must be between 20-25 years to be considered eligible for the job. This implies that you will not be eligible if you are older than 25 years or younger than 20 years. However, age relaxations are provided to certain categories. 

The candidates falling in reserved categories will be provided with the upper age limit relaxations. But to avail of that, you must be aware of the CAPF reservation criteria. There is no age relaxation for the candidates belonging to the General category. Get conversant with the CAPF eligibility criteria as laid in the table.

CAPF AC Education Qualification

The candidates must be well acquainted with the CAPF eligibility criteria of the educational qualifications.   • To qualify for the CAPF Minimum qualification criteria, you must possess a bachelor's degree in any stream.
  • The Bachelor's degree should be obtained from any Government recognized university or any other institute formed as per an Act of Legislature. (Both State and Central).
  • A degree from a university formed under any Parliamentary Act or Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, will also be accepted.
  • You can have any technical or professional degree from any recognized institution.

Apart from meeting the respective criteria for educational qualification and age limit, you will also have to pass the medical and physical tests.

Certain Disqualifications of UPSC for CAPF Exam

Some special conditions are there satisfying, which you will never be eligible to sit for the UPSC CAPF exam. Along with appropriate knowledge of the CAPF eligibility criteria, also take note of the criteria that will lead to the disqualification of the candidates. 

  • If you are already selected for any post of CAPF in an earlier year
  • If you are a current employee of any public sector enterprise or employed in any Government service.

Other minimum regulations regarding minimum medical standards include the following:

  • Candidates with any kind of deafness, or consistent ear discharge or with any history of diseases such as Vertigo, Tinnitus, and Earache should not apply
  • Candidates with conditions or diseases associated with neck, teeth, nose, and skin should not apply
  • Candidates with Venereal disease should not apply
  • Candidates with any chronic diseases such as Diabetes, Blood Pressure, Arthritis, Bronchytal Asthama, TB, and Heart conditions should not apply.
  • Candidates with Haemorrhoids, Hernia, Condylomas, Prolapse Rectum, Varicose Veins, Disease Of The Genital Urinary Tract, Flat Foot, Knock Knees, Congenital Malformation Malunited Fracture Of Bones, Flat Chest, Rickety Rosary Defect, Pigeon Test And Stammering Should Not Apply.

  • If you are domiciled in Jammu and Kashmir, you will be eligible for age-relaxation if you have stayed in the state between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 1989.

  • They can give the exam if they give an application stating this factor to their respective employers, and the employer gives his/her consent for the same.

  • According to the official notification, the CAPF Age limit for any candidate should be 20 to 25 years. Certain categories are provided with relaxation. You must ensure that you are fitting the prescribed eligibility criteria to be able to land the aspired job profile.
