IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2022: Every year, the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) announces the IBPS RRB recruitment notification for several Regional Rural Banks. In the IBPS RRB notification, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) sets the IBPS RRB 2022 exam pattern for each of the four posts separately including the RRB PO exam pattern along with RRB Clerk exam pattern (Office Assistant), RRB Officer Scale 2, and RRB Officer Scale 3 exam pattern. IBPS RRB Marking Scheme

It is essential for students to be well apprehended with the IBPS RRB marking scheme as it will help candidates to take the exam in a better way. Check out the important points for marking scheme-

  • There is a negative marking of 1/4th marks for every wrong attempt. 
  • There are no sectional cutoffs and only an overall cutoff.
  • The prelims stage is only qualifying in nature.

IBPS RRB Officer Exam Pattern FAQs

  • It is of utmost importance for the applicants to be well acquainted with the IBPS RRB exam pattern to ace the exam. The exam comprises of prelims and mains. The prelims exam consists of major two subjects, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude. There is a sectional time limit for each section. The total duration is of 45 minutes. Each section carries a different weightage, The cumulative marks and number of questions are 80. One-fourth of the marks determined to the question will be deducted in case of a wrong answer. The mains consists of 6 major subjects Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English Language, Hindi Language, and Numerical Ability. Each consist of 240 composite marks and the total time allotted to the section is 120 minutes. 

  • There is no sectional time limit as per the RRB clerk exam pattern.

  • 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer attempted by a candidate as per the RRB clerk exam pattern.

  • No, you must attempt the exam keeping in mind the negative marking of the exam. You must pick out the questions mindfully and attempt them with accuracy to prevent negative marking.

  • The marking scheme of the exam in accordance with the IBPS RRB paper pattern is, one mark will be awarded for the right answer. One-fourth of the marks determined by the question will be deducted for the wrong answer. In case of unattempted questions, no marks will be awarded.
