UKPSC Mains Exam Date 2022 has been postponed and re-released for UKPSC PCS exam. The candidates who have qualified the Prelims exam will be allowed to appear for the exam as per the new UKPSC exam date which is scheduled for 28 to 31 January 2023. In addition to this, UKPSC has also extended the date for UKPSC Mains application fee submission. Earlier, the additional result of candidates who will be appearing for the Mains exam.

The official notification for Uttarakhand Combined State Civil/ Upper Subordinate Service (PCS) (Preliminary) Examination 2021 was released on 10 August 2021. UKPSC apply online 2022 date has also been released. Uttarakhand  PCS has re-opened the prelims application form 2022 from 13 January 2022. As per the official dates, the last date to apply online for the prelims exam is 02 February 2022Candidates must note that applications are being invited to the candidates by providing relaxation of 04 years and 01 year in the upper age limit and keeping all the conditions as they are for other posts.

UKPSC Mains Exam Date 2022 has been re-released and is now scheduled for 28 to 31 January 2023 for the candidates who have qualified the Prelims exam. Earlier, the exam was scheduled for October, however, now new exam date has been released. UKPSC PCS Notification 2022

UKPSC PCS notification 2022 was released by Uttarakhand Public Service Commission for the UKPSC Combined State Civil/ Upper Subordinate Service Examination 2021-2022 or UKPSC PCS exam. The online application forms for UKPSC were released on 10 August 2021 to fill up a total of 224 vacancies. Later on, the online forms were again released from 8th to 28 December 2021. However, at a later stage, UKPSC online application was re-released from 13 January to 2 February 2022 with an increase of 94 vacancies. Thereby, making the final vacancy to 318. 

The selection of candidates for UKPSC exam is done through three stages, Prelims, Mains and interview. The Prelims exam has already been conducted on 2 April while the Mains is yet to be held from 28 to 31 January 2023. UKPSC PCS Eligibility 2022

Candidates applying for UKPSC exam 2022 should check out the  UKPSC eligibility that consists of age, qualification and physical standard. We have provided to you with the age limit and qualification below in the table.

UKPSC PCS Qualification

  • The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.
  • Candidates who have a post-graduation diploma in Town and architect planning or associate membership of the American institute of town/ Institute of planner/ Institute of town planner or institute of town planner India are eligible for the Sahayak Nagar Niyojak post.
  • Candidates who are graduates of Hindi are eligible for the post of District information officer / Feature writer.

UKPSC PCS Result 2022

UKPSC result 2022 is declared separately for the UKPSC PCS exam. The result is released in three stages, Prelims, Mains and Final Result. The result for the Prelims has already been released. The final result is released by combining the marks scored by candidates in Mains and interview. We will update the UKPSC PCS result once it is released.

UKPSC Selection Process

The UKPSC exam involves three stages for the recruitment into the administrative posts. The selection process is similar to other state PSC and UPSC exams. The exam stages are:

  • Preliminary Examination,
  • Mains Examination, and
  • Interview

Only those candidates will be appointed as UKPSC PCS officers who qualify each stage of the exam and obtain the given UKPSC PCS cutoff. You must also note that the final selection for UKPSC PCS shall be done on the basis of the marks obtained by you in the Mains and Interview.

UKPSC Exam Pattern 2022

UKPSC exam pattern is quite similar to that of UPSC and other state PCS exams. The prelims exam has 2 papers whereas the mains exam has nine papers. The personality test is going to test your problem-solving skills, personality, knowledge in different subjects, and other things.

The first step of the selection process is prelims. The UKPSC conducts the exam at various centres all over the state. There are two papers i.e., General Studies and Aptitude Test. Each paper carries 150 marks and is of 2 hours duration. The general aptitude paper is qualifying in nature just like the UPSC.

UKPSC Mains Exam Pattern

After clearing the prelims exam cutoff candidates would be called for the mains exam. The mains exam has nine traditional descriptive papers. Two papers are qualifying in nature whereas five papers are of general studies and the other two are optional subjects. The mains exam is a traditional descriptive examination. Candidates who qualify in the mains exam will be called for the Interview. The exam papers are set in the English language except the language paper will be set in the regional language.

Personality Test

The interview/ viva-voce is the last stage of the exam. Only a handful of candidates are called for the UKPSC interview after the mains exam. The interview is 200 marks. The interview will be conducted in the UKPSC office. The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in mains and interviews.
