SSC CHSL Syllabus 2023 Tier 2

The candidates who will qualify for the SSC CHSL Tier 1 will be called to appear for the Tier 2 exam which is an objective type exam. Tier II will comprise three sections having two modules each. To qualify for this test, candidates will have to secure minimum qualifying marks by completing each section within a time frame of 60 minutes. SSC CHSL Syllabus 2023 Skill Test

The candidates who will qualify the written test will be called to appear for the last stage of the examination process which is the SSC CHSL skill test. The skill test will be a computer typing test that is qualifying in nature. The detailed SSC CHSL syllabus for the skill test is available here.

For DEO Post:

The SSC CHSL syllabus for the DEO post is given below:

  • It is Qualifying in nature.
  • Candidates should possess a Data Entry Speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour on the computer.
  • They will be given printed matter in English which they have to type on the computer.
  • The test is for 15 minutes and candidates should have a minimum speed of 2000-2200 strokes/key depressions to qualify.

For DEO Post in CAG:

  • Candidates should possess a Data Entry Speed of 15,000 key depressions per hour on the computer.
  • You will be given printed matter in English which they have to type on the computer.
  • The test is for 15 minutes and candidates should have a minimum speed of 3700-4000 strokes/key depressions to qualify.

Typing Test Pattern for LDC/JSA:

Typing Test will be conducted only in English or Hindi and candidates while applying for the Examination will have to indicate their choice of typing test medium in the application form.

  • Candidates opting for English medium should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute and those opting for Hindi medium should have a typing speed of 30 words per minute corresponding to 10500 key depressions per hour and 30 wpm corresponds to 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.
  • The speed will be judged on the accuracy of typing on the computer of a given text passage in 10 minutes.
