SSC CGL Eligibility: Age Relaxation

SSC CGL Age Limit for OBC

SSC CGL Age Limit for OBC can be calculated taking into consideration the age relaxation which is 3 years. It means that instead of 30, the maximum age limit will be 33 years. Similarly, posts with a maximum age limit of 32 years will be changed for OBC candidates. The age limit for OBC candidates will be 35 years in such a case. Candidates should calculate their age carefully before applying for the exam. It is important to take relaxation into consideration to ensure all the eligibility criteria are met perfectly.

SSC CGL Age Limit for SC/ST

SSC CGL Age Limit for SC/ST is based on the age relaxation norms which is 5 years. It means that instead of 30, the maximum age limit will be 35 years. SSC CGL Eligibility 2023: Nationality

According to SSC CGL Eligibility conditions, candidates applying for SSC CGL 2023 must be a resident of Indian territory with valid ID proof to substantiate it. However, the following candidates are also eligible for SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL):

  • Tibetan refugee who moved to India before 1962 to settle down permanently in India.
  • A person of Indian origin who has moved from Pakistan, Burma, Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with intention of settling down permanently in India.
  • The subject of Nepal or Bhutan.

SSC CGL Eligibility: Things to Remember

Here are some important points regarding SSC CGL eligibility which candidates must keep in mind before applying for the exam.

  • There is no minimum percentage requirement for the exam; candidates with simple graduation passing certificates are eligible to apply
