CDS Eligibility Criteria 2021

CDS Eligibility Criteria 2021 - CDS (II) 2021 exam will be conducted on 14th November 2021 and the official recruitment notification for the same has already been released on 04th August 2021. CDS 2 eligibility criteria is important to know for candidates to apply for the posts of IMA, INA, OTA, and AFA. Check the CDS 2 age limit, educational qualification, percentage requirement, and other criteria, which a candidate must fulfill in order to apply for CDS Exam 2021

CDS 2 Eligibility for IMA & INA

Only male candidates are eligible to apply for IMA and INA.  Here are the eligibility details in reference to marital status and age limit:

The candidate should not have been born later than 1st July 2003 and not earlier than 2nd July 1998.

Unmarried

CDS 2 Eligibility for IAFA

Only male candidates are eligible to apply for IAFA.

  • As on 1st July 2022, the age of the candidate should be between 20-24 years. (i.e. the candidate should not have been born later than 2nd July 2003 and not earlier than 2nd July 1998)
  • Candidates who hold a valid and current commercial pilot license issued by DGCA (India) are entitled to relaxation in the upper age limit upto 26 years. (i.e. the candidate should not have been born later than 1st July 2002 and not earlier than 2nd July 1996)
  • Candidates who are below the age limit of 25 years must be unmarried.
    Also, the candidates won’t be allowed to get married during the training period.
  • Candidates who are above the age of 25 years and are married can also apply but during training, no accommodation for a spouse would be provided nor will the candidates allowed to live with family outside the premises.

CDS 2 Eligibility for OTA

SSC Course for Men

The candidate should not have been born later than 1st July 2003 and not earlier than 2nd July 1997.

SSC Women Non-Technical Course

The candidate should not have been born later than 1st January 2003 and not earlier than 2nd January 1997.

  • Unmarried
  • Widows who have not remarried
  • Divorcees who have not remarried and possess divorce documents.

CDS Nationality Criteria

In order to apply for the CDS exam, a candidate must be,

(i) a citizen of India, or
(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) a subject of Nepal, or
(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01/01/1962, for settling in India on a permanent basis. or
(v) an Indian origin person who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or Vietnam for settling in India on a permanent basis.
