UGC NET & SET exam 2021 is going to be conducted to determine the eligibility for the Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges. Prior to 2018 NET exam was conducted by CBSE but now NTA (National Testing Agency) is the in-charge on behalf of the UGC (University Grants Commission).

There are several other State Eligibility Tests similar to NET exams conducted across the country to help students find opportunities within the state. Most of the States conduct SET similar to UGC NET Exam 2021 to shortlist eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor. 

The major difference between the NET & SET exams is the no. of subjects offered for the exam. UGC NET Exam 2021

UGC NET exam 2021 is considered one of the popular as well as the toughest exams in India. It is conducted twice a year (June and December) across the country.
