Various State Level Exams are conducted across the country by each State via PSC and other authorities to recruit eligible candidates. State PCS Exams are conducted to recruit Group A and Group B officers. State PCS Examinations are just like UPSC examinations but at the state level. Each state conducted its PCS Examinations to hire administrators and other officers of all grades and posts. RPSC RAS (Rajasthan Public Service Commission)

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts various competitive Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) examinations every year for numerous posts like:

  • Chief Secretary
  • Special Secretary
  • Additional District Magistrate, etc.

The RPSC Exam Pattern is similar to UPSC with a difference in a few papers. The RAS Phase 1 Exam is the Prelims Exam which only consists of a General Studies paper. The RAS Phase 2 Exam is the Mains Examination which includes 4 General Studies papers. There is no optional subject paper in Rajasthan PCS Examination. The last stage is the interview stage.

TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission)

TNPSC Exam Notification was released. The notification announced the recruitment of 60 Group 1 Officers for the state of Tamil Nadu. . Along with the official notification, TNPSC Syllabus was also released.

TNPSC Examination is for the recruitment of the following posts like Deputy Collector, Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes), Assistant Director of Rural Development, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies, and many more.

OPSC (Odisha Public Service Commission)

OPSC Notification was released. The OPSC exam 2021 will be conducted for the posts of Group A & Group B officers. The OPSC Exam Pattern is the same as UPSC, There are 3 stages, Prelims, Mains, and Interview Stage.

CGPSC (Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission)

Chhattisgarh PCS Examination notification 2021 is out. CGPSC Prelims Examination will be held on 14th February 2021 and the result is awaited. The commission conducts the examinations for the Civil Services and other administrative posts.CGPSC Exam pattern is very similar to the UPSC Examination. The Prelims contains two papers, GS and Aptitude test followed by Mains Examination. There are 7 papers in CGPSC Mains Examination.

JPSC (Jharkhand Public Service Commission)

Jharkhand Public Service Commission will release JPSC PCS notification 2021 notification for various posts like Deputy Collector, District Minority Welfare Officer, ETO, DSP, and Jail superintendent, etc.

JPSC Exam pattern is as follows:

  • Prelims Examination has two papers General Studies-I and General Studies-II (Jharkhand specific)
  • Mains Examination has 6 papers
  • Interview/Personality Test

There is no negative marking in JPSC Examination.

HPSC (Haryana Public Service Commission)

Haryana Public Service Commission will soon release HPSC Notification. HPSC HCS/PCS exam comprises three stages i.e. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Mains Examination (Subjective Type), and Interview (Personality Test).

Haryana PCS Exam Pattern is quite similar to UPSC. HPSC Examination is held to recruit administrative officers and other Grade officers for the state of Haryana.

UKPSC (Uttarakhand Public Service Commission)

Uttarakhand PCS Examination is conducted to recruit officers and for various posts like Deputy Collector, DSP, District Minority Welfare Officer, and Jail superintendent. The minimum age eligibility for UKPSC is 21 years and the upper age limit is 42 years. The exam is conducted to recruit for Uttarakhand state only. The UKPSC Exam Pattern is similar to other states PCS Exams and you must practice the UKPSC Previous year papers to gain insight into the paper pattern and trend.

WBPSC (West Bengal State Public Service Commission)

WBCS exam date 2021 was announced with the release of official WBPSC notification. WB PCS Prelims Examination will be held in March/April 2021. West Bengal State Public Service Commission conducts the exam to recruit Grade A and Grade B service officers.

PPSC (Punjab State Civil Services Examination 2021)

Punjab Public Service Commission conducts the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination to recruit officers for the state of Punjab. The PPSC Exam is conducted for recruitment of various posts like Punjab Civil Service (Executive Branch), DSP, Tehsildar, Food Supply and Consumer Affairs Officer, BDO and many more. 

To begin preparation for the PPSC Examination 2021, you must be thorough with the PPSC syllabus and the Exam pattern. The upper is limit to apply for Punjab PPSC 2021 Exam is 37 years. You must verify the PPSC eligibility 2021 before applying for the exam. The PPSC 2021 Exam Pattern is such that it is held in three stages: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choices), Main Examination (Conventional Type, i.e. Written examination), and then Viva- Voice (Personality Test).
