MPTET is conducted by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB). It is organized to check the teaching eligibility of interested candidates for different levels such as High School, Middle School, and Primary levels.

MPTET 2023 exam admit card for Middle and Primary School Teacher Eligibility Test was released on 26 April 2023. Candidates who have submitted the application form can download their admit card. MPTET exam for Middle and Primary School Teacher is scheduled from 2 May 2023 to 19 May 2023. Candidates have to qualify the exam to process for the next stage of the recruitment process.

MPTET Admit Card 2023

The admit card for appearing in the MPTET exam is issued by MPPEB to eligible candidates only. It is released in online mode only. MPTET admit card is an important document for appearing in the exam. Without admit card, no candidate can enter the exam hall.

MPTET admit card 2023 contains the personal and exam details such as the candidate's name, roll number, date and time of exam, reporting time, etc. Ensure that you carry the hall ticket on the day of the exam along with an original copy of ID proof (Aadhar Card or PAN Card, etc.).

What is MPTET Exam?

MPTET exam is conducted by MPPEB to find eligible candidates for the advertised vacancies. MPPEB, which was also known as MP Vyapam, is the largest exam-conducting body that grants admission to professional courses. Every year around 20 lakh candidates apply for the exam.

Candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5 have to clear the MP Primary School TET exam while candidates who want to teach classes 6 to 8 have to clear the TET exam for middle school and candidates who want to teach classes 9 to 12 have to pass High School TET.

MPTET Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates should examine and validate their eligibility before applying for the MPTET exam. The eligibility criteria include educational qualification, age limit, and other factors that must be fulfilled by the candidates. MPTET Eligibility Criteria along with the requirements have been provided below for the reference of the candidates

MPTET Age Limit

Candidates must meet the age limit prescribed in the MPTET eligibility criteria. The age limit for submitting the application form is 21 years as of 01 January 2023.

MPTET Education Qualification

  • Candidates must be a B.Ed degree holder with a 50% aggregate Or
  • They must have passed a 2-year BTC program from a recognized University.
  • B.Ed/ Special B.Ed degree from a recognized University is a must.
  • Also, candidates must have passed intermediate education with at least 50% aggregate.

MPTET Apply Online 2023

The MPTET application form is released on the official website of the MPPEB. Candidates can only apply for the MPTET exam online, which entails registration, filling out the application form, and paying a fee for the exam. Step 1: MPTET Registration

  • Click on the link for the online application process, mentioned at the beginning of this page. Then, you will land on the official website.
  • Mark the declaration box under the 'Declaration of candidate' section and click on ‘Continue’.
  • In the next window, click on ‘Profile Registration’. Now, click on ‘Yes’ if you have a pre-registered profile ID else click on ‘No’.
  • Enter your Mobile Number and Email ID for obtaining OTP.
  • After you have entered the correct OTP, you will be sent a Profile ID and Password on your mobile number.
  • Under the ‘Profile Login’ section, provide the prescribed information and confirm.
  • Next, you will be required to get eKYC done by entering your Aadhar Number.
  • To get eKYC done through OTP, enter the Aadhar card number to generate eKYC OTP.

Step 2: Fill MPTET Application Form

  • After successful registration, you can log in using the Profile ID and password.
  • Now, you need to provide personal and educational details.
  • Next, you have to upload scanned images of the signature and photograph in the prescribed format.
  • In the next step, enter your category name and category number if you are an unreserved category.
  • After you have filled the entire form, ensure that you cross-check all the details.
  • Submit the details and generate a hard copy of the confirmation page for future reference.

Step 3: Pay MPTET Application Fee

  • After the successful submission of the online application form, make the payment to complete the MPTET application process.
  • You can make the payment online mode using a Credit card/ Debit card/ Net banking.

MPTET Selection Process 2023

Candidates must check the MPTET selection process before applying for the exam. Candidates taking the exam must obtain a minimum qualifying score to be eligible for recruitment. Those who score 60% in the general category and 55% in the reserved category will be considered qualified for MPTET 2023 vacancy and are permitted to work as High or Middle School or Primary school teachers.
