SSC GD Qualification

  • You should have passed Class 10th or matriculation from a recognized board.
  • If you will be appearing for your class 10th in 2022, then you are ineligible to apply for SSC GD Constable 2022.

SSC GD Age Limit

The SSC GD age limit for OBC/GEN/SC/ST/Others required to apply for the SSC GD 2022 is as follows. You must also note that you have to enter the exact date of birth and name as mentioned in the Class 10th certificate. At the time of application, the candidate's age should be between 18 and 23 years old and must fit the strict SSC GD age limit.

Age Relaxation for SSC GD Constable

Candidates must note that the SSC GD age limit also includes some relaxation for the candidates from the reserved categories. SSC GD Eligibility 2022: Nationality

If you are applying for SSC GD exam, then you must fulfill the next condition in the SSC GD Eligibility. The candidate must fulfill any of the given nationalities. As the SSC GD vacancies are released state/UT wise, you must submit the domicile/PRC against your State/UT. 

  • A Citizen of India
  • A Citizen of Nepal or
  • A Citizen of Bhutan or
  • Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1st January 1962 to be settled permanently in India or
  • A person of Indian origin migrated from Sri Lanka, East African Pakistan, Burma, S countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

SSC GD Physical Eligibility

The commission has set an SSC GD physical eligibility for candidates taking the SSC GD exam. The physical standard requirement includes height, chest expansion (only for male candidates), and vision for SSC GD Constable for male and female candidates. The SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test includes:

  • SSC GD Male Running Time-5km in 25 minutes & For Ladakh region-1 Mile in 6 and a half minutes.
