AFCAT Full Form is Air Force Common Admission Test. AFCAT is a common admission test, conducted by the Indian Air Force twice a year to select candidates for its Technical and Non-Technical (Flying Branch and Ground Duty) posts. What is AFCAT Full Form? 

The full form of AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. It is the common entrance test for everyone aspiring to join the Indian Air Force. No matter what post you want to join in the Air Force, you will have to appear for AFCAT. It is the step for the IAF Recruitment Process. AFCAT EKT Full Form

EKT Full Form in AFCAT is Engineering Knowledge Test that is conducted after the AFCAT Exam for applicants who apply for the Ground Duty (Technical) post. The AFCAT EKT Exam is held for the engineering subjects and a total of 50 questions are asked. The AFCAT EKT Exam is 150 marks and candidates get 45 min to solve the paper.

AFCAT Age Limit

If you are applying to AFCAT 2022, you should know about the following. Stay updated with the AFCAT Registration dates.

  • The official AFCAT Age Limit for candidates is under 25 years. 
  • Candidates who have a valid commercial pilot license (issued by the DGCA) get an age relaxation for the Flying Branch post. 
  • Such candidates will be eligible to join the IAF till 26 years of age.

AFCAT Selection Criteria

As per the official updates, the AFCAT Selection Process consists of a series of tests that the candidate will have to appear for. Only those candidates who pass the test they are currently attempting will be eligible for the next selection rounds.
