BPSC Age Limit
To apply for the Bihar PCS exam, candidates should be aware of the correct BPSC age limit as defined for different categories. The age limit for general males is 20 - 37 years. Besides this, there is also a provision for relaxation in the upper BPSC age limit. This relaxation is based on the category of the candidates.

For the Deputy Superintendent of Police post, the minimum age eligibility is 20 years.
BPSC Age Relaxation
The Bihar Commission has provided a special facility regarding age relaxation for several categories. This relaxation is applicable to the upper BPSC age limit. The age relaxation for ex-servicemen is 3 years plus the years of service. Conditionally, the applicant is not above 53 years of age. For the applicants applying under the Persons with Disability (PwD) category, the age relaxation of 10 years is given.
- BPSC has also defined age eligibility for government servants who have been in continuous service for at least three years.
- The upper age limit for such candidates according to the Commission is relaxed by 05 years.
BPSC Educational Qualification
To apply for BPSC Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, aspirants need to have a Graduation or equivalent degree from a government-recognized university. The BPSC eligibility criteria for educational requirements do not mention a specialized field or minimum marks in graduation. The only condition in the educational criteria is to have a Graduation degree from a recognized institute.
