Delhi Police Head Constable Eligibility: Nationality/Citizenship

According to the Delhi Police Head Constable Eligibility 2022, a candidate should be either one of the following to be eligible for the exam:

  • A citizen of India
  • A subject of Nepal
  • A subject of Bhutan
  • A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India
  • A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India

Delhi Police Head Constable Age Limit

Candidates must be aged between 18 to 25 years as on 1 January 2022 in order to meet Delhi Police Head Constable age limit criteria. This means that candidates should be born not before 1 January 1997. However, the Government of India has also given the relaxation in the upper age limit to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories which are tabulated below:

Delhi Police Head Constable Eligibility: Medical Standards

Delhi Police Head Constable Medical Test is the last stage of the selection process for the Delhi Police Head Constable exam. Those candidates who will qualify for the physical exam will be asked to appear for the medical examination which will be conducted in selected Government hospitals in Delhi as per the prescribed standards of the Delhi Police.
