MAT 2023 Selection Process

As per the official update, the MAT Exam selection process includes further rounds, including GD (Group Discussion), PI (Personal Interview), and WAT (Written Ability Test) conducted by the institutes individually. The candidates must note that AIMA has no role in these selection processes, as MAT Exam colleges declare the final results separately.

Below are some important guidelines that you must be aware of if you are attempting the MAT Exam 2023

  • Candidates need to select at least 5 participating institutes at the time of filling out the application form for MAT 2023.
  • The candidates need to meet the cut-off to be selected by the institutes accepting MAT Exam 2023 scores.
  • The participating institutes shortlist candidates based on parameters fixed by their administration.
  • You will not get any call from the institute of your preference if you fail to meet the selection criteria specifically declared by that institute.
  • Some of the MAT Exam participating institutes offer admission to MAT-qualified candidates based on the exam scores only. They do not conduct further selection rounds like GD-PI-WAT.

Who is Eligible for MAT Exam?
