RRB NTPC eligibility is one of the important criteria considered by the board for the recruitment of professionals at different posts in Indian Railways. Candidates who wish to apply for the upcoming RRB NTPC exam must check the RRB NTPC eligibility criteria 2022 to ensure whether they satisfy all the mandatory requirements of age limit, educational qualification, nationality, etc.

RRB NTPC Eligibility 2022

RRB NTPC eligibility 2022 is not officially released by the Railway Recruitment Board, but we have presented the eligibility criteria of RRB NTPC here in detail as per the previous years' notifications. RRB conducts NTPC (Non-technical popular categories) exam in five stages - Prelims CBT (Computer Based Test), Mains CBT, Skill test, Document verification, and Medical examination. Only those candidates who fulfill the RRB NTPC eligibility criteria are allowed to appear for the exam. RRB NTPC eligibility is divided into the following criteria: Age limit, Educational qualification, and Nationality.

RRB NTPC Nationality

As per the RRB NTPC eligibility criteria, a candidate must satisfy any of the following nationality criteria to be allowed to apply for the exam:

  • A citizen of India
  • A subject of Bhutan or Nepal
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with an intention of permanently settling in India
  • A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with an intention to permanently settle in India.

RRB NTPC Age Limit

There are two levels in the RRB NTPC exam - Undergraduate or 12th standard level, and Graduate level. The age limit for candidates applying for the undergraduate level as per the RRB NTPC eligibility 2022 should be from 18 to 30 years, while the age limit required for the graduate level exam should be from 18 to 33 years. Note: If a student is a graduate or possesses higher qualifications than the 12th Standard, 50% marks compulsion in Class XII will not be insisted upon you. For example, If a student is a Graduate and has scored 45% in Class XII, 50% marks compulsion in Class XII will not be insisted upon you.

RRB NTPC Eligibility Criteria FAQs

  • RRB NTPC Eligibility criteria 2022 provides details of all the conditions required to fulfill by the candidates regarding age limit, educational qualification, nationality, etc. Candidates are advised to check the RRB NTPC eligibility before applying for the exam.

  • As per the RRB NTPC eligibility criteria, the upper age limit for undergraduate level exam is 30 years, and for the graduate level exam, it is 33 years. There are age relaxations available in the upper age limit for different categories. So, check the upper age limit for your category and then apply for the exam.
