IBPS SO Exam Pattern 2022

IBPS SO exam pattern is formulated by the officials of the Institute of Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) to hold the exam. IBPS SO exam will be conducted in online mode. With the help of the IBPS SO Prelims exam pattern, we can understand that there will be three sections in the prelims exam. Candidates have to qualify for each section by obtaining the minimum required marks in order to be eligible for appearing in the mains exam. IBPS SO Exam Pattern for Rajbhasha Adhikari

There will be two sections namely Professional Knowledge (Objective) and Professional Knowledge (Descriptive). Following are the essential details related to the IBPS SO mains exam pattern for Rajbhasha Adhikari:

  • The professional knowledge (objective) section shall encompass a total of 45 questions whereas there will be only 02 questions in the professional knowledge (descriptive) section.
  • The maximum mark combining both the sections is 60 marks.
  • The questions in both the sections will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi.
  • The duration to solve the questions is 30 minutes each.

IBPS SO Exam Pattern for IT Officer and Other Posts

IBPS SO Marking Scheme

IBPS SO marking scheme enables aspirants in understanding the criteria for the negative marking. A penalty for the wrong answers has been prescribed in the IBPS SO exam pattern. It will be applicable for both prelims and mains examination. For each incorrect answer marked by a candidate, 0.25 marks or one-fourth marks will be deducted. However, no marks will be deducted for the questions that will be left unanswered.
