TISSNET Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2021 Official Detail

The official TISSNET Syllabus 2021 is prescribed by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai for the TISSNET aspirants to get familiar with the exam. The TISSNET exam is conducted for admission to its postgraduate courses like MA, MBA, and PGDM. TISSNET 2021 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 20 Feb 2021. Candidates who will appear in this exam, are advised to go through the section-wise TISSNET syllabus to get acquainted with the important topics.

TISSNET exam pattern and syllabus must be understood clearly so as to prepare for the exam in a comprehensive manner. Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test, abbreviated as TISSNET, is National level exam conducted by TISS, Mumbai. It is organized in order to intake aspirants in its four constituent campuses: TISS Mumbai, TISS Tuljapur, TISS Hyderabad, and TISS Guwahati, for the post-graduate courses. Its flagship course is MA which is on par with the management courses like MBA and PGDM. The interested candidates will get an opportunity to explore and these four institutes will definitely provide holistic learning to various outstanding students. 

TISSNET Exam Pattern 2021

TISSNET is a computer-based online test conducted with a duration of 100 minutes. The plus point of this exam is that there is NO negative marking on the paper.

English Proficiency syllabus of TISSNET consists of 30 questions of 30 marks. This means one question carries one mark. This section is mainly divided into 2 parts: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. If a candidate has a good command of grammar, then he/she can easily secure better marks in this section.

This section checks aspirants’ logical skills as well as the ability to analyze and solve problems in a short span of time. It is one of the sections of the TISSNET that a student can score if the candidate has good mathematical skills as well as knowledge about formulae. In total, there are 30 questions and each question is 1 mark.
