With the SSC CGL 7 March 2023 exam, the commission has successfully concluded the the tier 2 of the SSC CGL selection process. Let us check the important highlights based on the response received from the candidates who took the exam
- SSC CGL Tier 2 Good number of attempts 2023 for 7th March exam is expected to be 115 – 124.
- The difficulty level of the exam was Moderate
- Difficulty order of the subjects is as follows: General Awareness > Computer > Reasoning > Maths and English
- In English there were 3 Reading Comprehensions based on following themes: Export of basmati and non basmati rice, recent discovery of NASA related to Sun and one news article. In reading comprehension, one interesting type of question was given where in students were given answer and were asked to choose the right question for the given answer.
- SSC CGL Tier 2 Reasoning questions were easy to moderate.
- In quant mostly questions were based on arithmetic. Candidates who appeared in the exam mentioned that out of 30 questions, 20 were easy to moderate and remaining 10 were a bit tricky.
- In General awareness students could only attempt 12 – 17 questions. From current affairs there were 6-7 questions and 5-6 from static GK
- As per the response registered by the students who took the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam in shift 1 on 7th March 2023, around 10-14 Computer questions were doable.
SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Analysis 7 March 2023: Section-wise
SSC CGL Tier 2 exam plays a crucial role in the selection of the candidates as the final merit will be made based on the performance of in the SSC CGL mains exam. The difficulty level of the SSC CGL Quantitative Aptitude section remained in the range of Easy – Moderate. Mostly questions were based on arithmetic. Candidates who appeared in the exam mentioned that out of 30 questions, 20 were easy to moderate. Good number of attempts for the Quant section can be taken as 24-27.

Questions Pattern in the SSC CGL Tier 2 English section was similar to the pattern seen in previous shifts. There were three reading comprehensions and 1 cloze tests. In reading comprehension, one interesting type of question was given where in students were given answer and were asked to choose the right question for the given answer. Candidates could easily attempt 37-41 questions.
