A Car Traveling at 20 km/h speeds up to 60 km/h in 6 seconds. What is its Acceleration in m/s2?

Acceleration is 50/27 m/s2
Step 1, Given that
Initial velocity = u = 20 km/h = 20 x 5/18 = 50/9 m/s
Time = t = 6 s
Final velocity = v = 60 km/h = 60 x 5/18 = 50/3 m/s
Step 2, Now we have to find the acceleration
Using the first motion equation
we know that
v = u + at
Substituting all the values
50/3 = 50/9 + a x 6
On solving
a = 50/27 m/s2
Hence the acceleration is 50/27 m/s2
