1. Study Material, Syllabus, and PYQs

The first and foremost thing to start preparation is Study Material, syllabus, and PYQs. Nowadays you can get study material and PYQs from our online website i.e. byjusexamprep.com. You will get an idea about the exam pattern through the study material and PYQs. And you can get the syllabus from the official website, it gives you the perception of the exam and you can start your preparation in the right direction.

2. Study plan

The second important thing after studying material and syllabus is the Study plan. If you have the best study material but do not have a proper study plan then you are just wasting your time. A candidate must have a study schedule in which he/she must have 2-3 time slots for study in a day as it is not very pragmatic to study at the same time daily so it is important to have some flexibility in your plan for quality preparation. So, make a proper study schedule for you, and most important is to follow it religiously.

3. Make your own notes

When you read or learn the concepts or formulas for the first time you give your 100% attention to it but while learning Make notes of every topic. It will help you in memorizing.
Notes help in smoothing the revision.

4. Time Management

As Lord Chesterfield said, “Take care of the minutes and the hours will take care of themselves”. Time Management is the key to succeeding in this exam. You do not want to waste a single minute in the final exam which costs the performance of other sections of the exam. So hone your time management skills to top the exam. You have to decide the time limit for each section before appearing in the final exam. A candidate must give the time-based online test to manage the sectional timings and also the chronology of attempting sections as well in the final exam.

  • The General Awareness section is the scoring section as it takes less time to attempt to score more. The syllabus is vast but very interesting. Just attempt those questions in this section for which you are strongly confident about otherwise do not attempt.

6. Revision
