SSC MTS Posts with Departments
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) of India has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) for 2023. SSC MTS Department List: Job Profile in Income Tax Department
Despite the fact that you are an MTS in Income Tax, you are well-treated and generally work better than Multitasking Staff. After four years of passing the skill test, you will have ample opportunity to learn and be promoted to Tax Assistant. Furthermore, you'll be promoted every 3-4 years. You will occasionally work as a personal assistant to the senior officer of Income Tax. If you are posted as MTS in the Income Tax department, you will have access to excellent infrastructure and working conditions. You have the support of various OBC, SC/ST, and labor unions.
SSC MTS Department List: Job Responsibilities in Other Departments
After being hired, the candidates will be expected to take on various responsibilities. Along with their roles, they will be responsible for the additional responsibilities assigned by senior officers, which are listed below in the article.
- Physical upkeep of the Section's records.
- Aiding in routine workplaces and computers, such as a diary, dispatch, etc.
- Outside the building, a courier arrives.
- If it exists, work related to ITI qualifications.
- Transporting files and other papers around the building.
- Photocopying, FAX transmission, and so on.
- Driving vehicles, but only if they have a valid driver's license.
- The section/general unit's cleanliness and upkeep.
- Other non-clerical duties within the Section/Unit
- Watch and ward responsibilities.
- Room opening and closing.
- Rooms are being cleaned.
- Cleaning of buildings, fixtures, and so on.
- Park, lawn, and potted plant maintenance, among other things.
- Any other tasks delegated by superior authority.
SSC MTS Department Allocation List
Preferences of Post-cum-States/ UTs/ Cadre Controlling Authorities
Candidates selected for the post of MTS through this examination will be posted in various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India or various Constitutional Bodies/ Statutory Bodies/ Tribunals in various States/ UTs. Candidates will preferably be assigned to one of the allotted states or territories to begin with. However, depending on the needs of the User Departments, they may be posted in multiple states/UTs. As a result, candidates must be willing to serve anywhere in India. Candidates who pass this examination for the position of Havaldar in CBIC will be assigned to various Cadre Controlling Authorities (CCAs) across the country.
It should be noted that candidates selected against a Cadre Controlling Authority (CCA) in CBIC will be required to serve only in that CCA for the duration of their service period, subject to cadre restructuring in CBIC from time to time. It should be noted that the Directorate General of Performance Management (DGPM), CBIC has jurisdiction over the entire country. As a result, candidates assigned to DGPM in CBIC may be posted anywhere in India. Similarly, the Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBN) is headquartered in Gwalior, MP, with branch offices in Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, and Kota, Rajasthan. As a result, the candidates assigned CBN can be posted anywhere in the CBN's offices.
The candidates are therefore required to give preferences of Post-cum- States/UTs/CCAs in the order of priority in the online application form.

If a candidate selects all Post-cum-States/ UTs/ CCAs, he will be considered for all Post-cum-States/ UTs/ CCAs vacancies. However, if a candidate has given limited preferences, he will be considered for only those Post-cum-States/UTs/ CCAs for which he has indicated a preference in the online Application Form.
For example, if a candidate has only given six preferences of MTS-Delhi, Havaldar (CGST)-Delhi, MTS-Rajasthan, Havaldar (CGST)-Jaipur, and Havaldar (Directorate) CBN, and MTS- 'All India,' he will only be considered for MTS-Delhi, Havaldar (CGST)-Jaipur and Havaldar (Directorate)
Candidates' preferences for Post-cum- states/ UTs/ CCAs expressed in the online Application Form will be considered final, and no changes to those preferences will be permitted under any circumstances.
