The exam date of SSC Scientific Assistant 2017 is approaching fast for total 1102 vacancies. To get the idea of SSC Scientific Assistant Cut off, we are going to discuss the expected & previous year cut-off for SSC Scientific Assistant 2017 Exam. We hope you have downloaded your SSC Scientific Assistant Admit Card already.
Previously, in 2011 the IMD Scientific Assistant Exam was conducted in two tiers (paper 1 & paper 2) and Interview. As the exam is being conducted after a long time, SSC has brought many changes in the pattern of the exam. We will discuss these changes in detail.
Earlier i.e. in 2011, the exam was conducted in offline mode. The Paper I was General Aptitude Objective while Paper II was Technical Descriptive Paper. The major changes for this year exams are discussed below.
- This year, SSC Scientific Assistant exam will be conducted online.
- There will be only one paper which consists of two parts i.e. Part I (Non-Technical) & Part II (Technical). You can check the complete Exam Pattern of SSC Scientific Assistant.
- Both parts are compulsory to attempt.
- There will be no sectional cut-off neither part wise nor subject wise. There will be overall Cut-off (i.e. Part I + Part II).
- Total 200 Questions will be asked in this exam. 100 questions in each part.
- Each question carries 1 Mark for the correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Time duration of this Scientific Assistant Exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
