In kabaddi game, 7 players are there in each team. The famous contact sport known as “kabbaddi” has its roots in ancient India. In the states of Bihar, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Punjab, and the nation as a whole, it is the recognised sport.

Rules of Kabaddi Games 

  • When the game of kabaddi begins, each team has 7 players.
  • Additionally, there will be 5 stand-ins for each side.
  • The Kabaddi matches last 40 minutes.
  • Alternating turns allow each side to send one player to the other’s side. Each member of the other team is referred to as a defender, and this individual is known as the raider.
  • For two 20-minute halves, each side spends 20 minutes raiding and 20 minutes defending (with a five-minute break between halves and newly introduced small timeouts for teams that are used to generate advertisement revenue).
  • The two teams move courtside after the first intermission.
  • Only once a raider and a defender have made contact on the court is the Lobby area of the court deemed active. Otherwise, it is regarded as off-limits by both the raider and the defenders.
  • After the match, the team with the most points wins.
