RRB has not specified the number of questions that it will ask in each section but on the basis of the pattern that the board has been following for  the last couple of years we can figure out the weightage for each section.  Candidate can easily score in this section. It requires analytical skills and good presence of mind to tackle questions in this section. Most common topics are as under:

  • Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series,

Series formation questions are based upon a particular logic like square number series, Cube Number series, Arithmetic Progression etc. Candidates need to learn the squares numbers from 1 to 50 and cube numbers from 1 to 20. For the number series part, one must memorize standard series.

This includes problems based on the Odd One Out logic of the same category, meaning, & direction finding.   • Syllogism, Venn Diagram, Conclusions and Decision making
