(A) Mass
(B) Energy
(C) Momentum
(D) Time
Equation of continuity is based on the principle of conservation of mass. The continuity equation is the name given to the equation based on the conservation of mass. As a result, the amount of fluid flowing through the pipe at every cross section results in a consistent flow rate.
ρ1 A1 V1 = ρ2 A2 V2
where ρ is the density of the fluid,
A is the pipe’s cross-sectional area at two separate places.
V stands for the pipe’s velocity at the measured cross-section.

The convection-diffusion equation, Navier-Stokes equations, and the Boltzmann transport equation are only a few of the many transport equations that make up the continuity equation.
The convection-diffusion equation combines the concepts of convection and diffusion. It explains the scientific phenomenon in which, inside a physical system, particles, energy, and other physical quantities are exchanged with the aid of “diffusion and convection.”
Summary:
Equation of continuity is based on the principle of conservation of? (A) Mass (B) Energy (C) Momentum (D) Time
The conservation of mass concept is the foundation of the equation for continuation. The equation based on the conservation of mass is known as the continuity equation.
