Bihar Police SI Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2018 for Sub Inspector Excise!

BPSSC has released the recruitment notification for the post of Excise Sub-Inspector (SI). The online application for Bihar Police Excise SI exam 2018 has been started and the last date to apply is 30th June 2018. To make sure that you grab one of the 126 vacant seats announced by Bihar Police this year, we are providing you with a detailed syllabus & exam pattern. Although the exam dates are not announced yet, knowledge of the Bihar Police Excise SI 2018 Syllabus & Exam Pattern will give the candidates a much-needed head start to prepare for SI exam.
Bihar Police SI Exam Pattern 2018
The selection process in Bihar police for the post of excise SI post has 4 levels consisting of Preliminary and Main written Exams which will be conducted online followed by physical eligibility test and medical examination. Candidates have to pass each level to get shortlisted and proceed to the next stage. Final merit list will be based on the marks obtained in the second part of mains examination.

Preliminary Examination (Phase I)
The Bihar Police Excise SI exam 2018 preliminary exam will consist of 100 questions. The total time duration will be 2 hours. Below is the detailed preliminary exam pattern of Bihar Police Excise SI 2018 exam:

Note: The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be counted in the final selection. However, minimum 30% marks are required to proceed to the next level. The number of candidates selected for the main exam will be approximately 20 times the number of vacancy in that category.
Mains Examination (Phase II)
The main examination will comprise two parts. Each part will have a time duration of 2 hours. Below is the detailed exam pattern for mains of Bihar Police Excise SI 2018 exam:

Note: For every incorrect answer there, will be a Negative Marking of 0.2 marks in both the phases of examinations. Paper I (General Hindi) marks will not be considered in the final selection list. However, minimum 30% marks are required to qualify this exam.
