Watery diarrhoea or gastrointestinal discomfort may be symptoms. Hypomagnesemia, which is a symptom of poisoning, causes symptoms such as nausea, flushing, thirst, drowsiness, loss of tendon reflexes, respiratory depression, and coma. It can also induce vomiting, hypotension, confusion, muscle weakness, cardiac arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest.
