A white sticker is attached to the Foundation Seeds. The tags for the Registered seeds are purple. A blue sticker denotes seeds that are certified.

Blue Tag is Used on Certified Seed Bags
In accordance with Section 5 of the Seeds Act of 1966, they are marked with a tag of a different color. Certified Seed bags will have only a blue colour tag. Apart from this, we have mentioned below few details of other seeds.
Breeder Seeds: According to the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Ministry of Agriculture, the offspring of the nucleus seed multiplied over a huge region.
Foundation Seed: The offspring of breeder seed generated by reputable public and private seed-generating organizations under the supervision of organizations to preserve seed standards.
Registered Seed: Registered seed is the offspring of foundation seed that has been handled in compliance with the requirements laid out for the specific crop being certified.
