The RPF Constable Exam Pattern consists of 3 different stages that are designed to examines the candidates on different parameters. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The first stage of the RPF Exam Pattern is the Computer-Based Test. Candidates must score at least the minimum qualifying marks in the online exam to proceed to the further stages that test the candidate's physical abilities and measurements. The exam is held for all applicants and will be secondary or matric level. All the questions will be framed from the official RPF Constable Syllabus set by the Indian Railways.
Candidates must note that all questions are compulsory and carry +1 mark each. Candidates must attempt as many questions as possible in the paper to obtain a decent score. However, a negative marking policy is also applicable in the exam, and 1/3 of marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Here is the marking scheme for the online multiple-choice exam.

As per the RPF recruitment policy, all the candidates who have passed the CBT will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Unlike CBT, no marks are allotted during these tests.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
To qualify for the PET, a candidate must meet particular physical standards mentioned in the RPF Constable Syllabus and display physical efficiency in areas such as:

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
The next parameter included in the RPF Constable syllabus is the Physical Measurements Test of the candidate. Thus, a candidate must possess the required physical measurements mentioned by the ministry to qualify for the round. Verification of Documents
Once a candidate clears all the 3 stages mentioned in the RPF Constable Syllabus and Exam Pattern, they will be called for the verification of documents by the regional Railway headquarters or some other office mentioned in their admit card. Candidates must submit their official credentials to the authorities to become eligible. After the verification of documents and the medical examinations, candidates will have to answer a few questions to help the exam authorities judge their personality and intelligence.
