IB ACIO Syllabus 2022 is released by the Ministry of Home Affairs to recruit candidates for the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/Executive in Intelligence Bureau. For the candidates preparing for the exam, the first step is to get familiar with the exam pattern and IB ACIO syllabus. IB ACIO Syllabus 2022

IB ACIO syllabus will provide you with a list of all the important topics that are usually asked in each Tier of the exam. The IB ACIO syllabus 2022 is divided into three phases/Tiers. Tier 1 will be an objective paper (based on MCQs), Tier 2 will be a descriptive paper consisting of Essay writing and English Comprehension and Precis writing, and Tier 3 is a personal interview. The three stages that sum up the IB ACIO syllabus and exam pattern are as follows:

  • IB ACIO Tier-I Exam (Written)
  • IB ACIO Tier-II Exam (Written)
  • IB ACIO Interview (Personality test)

As per the previous year's IB ACIO Tier-I exam pattern, there will be a total of 100 questions for a total of five sections; these are General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, English Language, and General Studies. IB ACIO Tier 1 Syllabus

The Tier 1 syllabus of IB ACIO is divided across five subjects from which 20 questions will be asked from each section carrying 1 mark per question. The maximum time to complete the Tier 1 exam is 1 hour or 60 minutes. IB ACIO Tier 2 Syllabus

The Tier 2 of the IB ACIO syllabus is a descriptive paper to assess the writing skills of candidates. The IB ACIO syllabus for Tier 2 consists of two sections:

  2. English Comprehension & Précis Writing

Subject-wise Weightage of IB ACIO Syllabus

The Selection Procedure of MHA will comprise three Tiers. Students had to clear all the 3 phases to get recruited as an ACIO. Let us now discuss the subject wise weightage of the IB ACIO syllabus involved in these rounds.

The Tier I exam syllabus of IB ACIO will contain a Written Exam of Objective type MCQs, divided into 4 parts containing questions of 1 mark each.
