CISF Qualification

The authority has imposed a minimum educational requirement for applicants to the exam, similar to the age limit. For consideration, an applicant must satisfy the CISF Qualification requirements.   • For skilled professions, candidates must have passed their Class 10 or Matriculation or its equivalent.
  • Candidate must have passed Class 12th or its equivalent from a recognized board with Science subject.
  • Industrial Training-trained employees would be given preferential preference.
  • Candidates for unskilled trades like sweeping must have completed their matriculation through an accredited board.
  • 35 words per minute minimum required for English typing (wpm).
  • 30 words per minute minimum required for Hindi typing (wpm).

CISF Physical Standards

The commission sets physical standards for candidates taking the CISF exam. The physical standard requirement includes CISF Height and chest expansion. To become a Constable or a Sub-Inspector, a candidate must possess the required physical standards of CISF Eligibility. These traits signify that a candidate is fit for the job and worthy of the esteemed position. Candidates for the general category must be 170 cm in height and have a chest measurement between 80 and 85 cm (5 cm expansion). These requirements differ depending on the category. CISF Height

The authority has framed the physical standard of body measurements, height, chest, etc., required for the post. Candidates must check the physical standard required for the Constable and Sub Inspector post. If candidates fail this eligibility, their application will be rejected.   • The position of Assistant sub-inspector is open for male and female candidates with physical requirements. The General, SC, and OBC male candidates should have 170 centimetres in height and 80 centimetres unexpanded chest. For ST and SC male candidates, a CISF Height of 162.5 centimetres and an unexpanded chest of 76 centimetres are required.

CISF Eligibility: Medical Standards

All required standard medical conditions must be met by applicants taking this exam. According to the data, the candidate must meet the following standard weight and visual requirements:

  • Candidates must not have varicose veins, flat feet, knock knees, or a squint in their eyes.
  • If candidates want to apply for the position, they must be in good physical and mental health.

CISF Eligibility: Nationality

As per CISF Eligibility, Candidates must fulfill the nationality criteria. If a candidate doesn’t fit the criteria, he/she will not be allowed to apply for the CISF exam. The nationality requirements for every candidate are given below.

  • For the CISF exam, the candidate must be an Indian citizen. It is prohibited for candidates of different nationalities to register for the exam.

CISF Eligibility: Number of Attempts

The number of attempts is a frequent question from candidates who are considering taking the CISF exam. Every candidate appearing at the CISF examination who is otherwise eligible shall be permitted 3 attempts at the examination for all the different posts under CISF Recruitment 2023. 

They must, however, make sure that they are within the CISF Age Limit.   • Candidates will not be considered for the exam if they do not meet the CISF Age Limit. As some reserved categories are entitled to age relaxations on the upper age limit, candidates should also confirm the age requirements for their specific category. The candidate will not be permitted to participate in the recruiting process even after the age restrictions have been applied if they are over the upper or lower age limit.
