CISF Head Constable Salary: Perks and Benefits

After the introduction of the 7th Pay Commisison, the perks and allownaces for the CISF HC have increased. Upon being appointed as a CISF Head Constable, you will be entitled to receive the following perks and benefits.

  • Dearness Allowance: This is paid to offset the inflation rate.

CISF Head Constable Probation Period

The candidates who will be appointed as CISF Head Constables will have to be on a probation period of 2 years. During the probation period, the candidates will have to remain fit during the training and adhere to all the rules and regulations to avoid their termination.

CISF Head Constable Promotion

The CISF Head Constable is promoted to the rank of  Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI). ASI is the highest rank in the CISF for the Head Constable. However, to be promoted to the rank of CISF ASI, you must be physically and mentally fit Your Body Mass Index (BMI) should be normal. If your BMI exceeds or you are underweight, then you will be given a deadline to become fit or you might face a disciplinary action.
