AAI Recruitment through GATE 2020/2021/2022

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has come up with the recruitment notification for the posts of Junior Executives on its official website. The AAI will directly recruit candidates for the post of Junior Executives based on the GATE scorecard. The AAI Junior Executive recruitment notification was released on 8th December 2022. The starting date for AAI recruitment through GATE score is 22 December 2022 (10:00 AM), and the last date to apply is 21 January 2022 (11:59 PM).

AAI recruitment through GATE score will be done for Junior executives posts in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Architecture. Candidates with bachelor’s degrees in Engineering and a valid GATE scorecard will be eligible to fill out the online form. AAI has released the online notification for 596 posts of Junior Executives who will be shortlisted based on the GATE 2020/2021/2022 scorecard. AAI Recruitment Through GATE Notification

Candidates with a valid degree stream notified by AAI and having a GATE 2020, 2021, or 2022 scorecard in these streams can apply for the posts of Junior Executives. AAI operates 137 terminals, including 23 International airports, 10 Customs Airports and 104 Domestic airports. The Junior Executives upgrade, maintain and handle civil aviation infrastructure. Eligibility Criteria for Junior Executives Post

All the candidates must fulfill the AAI recruitment 2022 eligibility criteria to be eligible for Junior Executives posts. Here are the eligibility criteria for AAI recruitment through GATE as per the notification released by AAI. The basic eligibility criteria for AAI recruitment through GATE are listed below:

  • Candidates must be residents of India.
  • Applicants belonging to the unreserved category should not be more than 27 years on 21st December 2022.
  • For OBC and SC/ST applicants, the age limit is 30 and 32 years.
  • For Ex‐servicemen, age amusement is applicable per the rules designated by the Government of India.
  • The Date of Birth mentioned in the matriculation/secondary examination Certificate will be the final DOB and the only accepted criteria to prove.

AAI Recruitment Through GATE: Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have finished or are in the final year of a full-time undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Other educational qualifications for AAI recruitment through GATE are as follows.

  • Candidates must have passed the examination from a reputable institute/university in the appropriate stream to be eligible for AAI recruitment through a GATE score.
  • Any undergraduate degree obtained through distance learning/part-time or equivalent qualifications such as AMIE/Certificate will not be adequate.
  • Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in their bachelor’s degree.
  • Only applicants with qualifying GATE 2020/GATE 2021/GATE 2022 normalized marks will be available to apply for Junior Executives.

AAI Recruitment 2022: Selection Process for Junior Executive

Candidates will be screened based on normalized GATE 2022/2021/2020 scores. Shortlisted applicants will be asked directly for certificate verification at the corporate headquarters in New Delhi. No other examination like CBT or Interview will be conducted. Other details about the selection procedure are shared in the points below.

  • The call letter for document verification will be sent to the certified email ID of the candidates.
  • At certificate verification, applicants must present papers, including a copy of the call letter, proof of identity, and original certificates.
  • All photocopies must be self‐attested by the applicants.
  • Applicants employed in a Government/Semi‐Government/PSU establishment are expected to produce a NOC from the current employer at the time of certificate verification.
  • Post certificate verification, the collection will be done per the merit list provided on the GATE 2020/2021/2022 normalized marks of candidates.

Application Procedure for AAI Recruitment Through GATE

Applicants who want to apply for AAI Junior Executives opportunities will be expected to follow the below directions thoroughly before applying online:

Step 1: Sign Up

  • Candidates will be expected to record on the website.
  • After enrollment, applicants will be expected to register their name, a valid Email ID, mobile number, GATE Year, Paper, Registration Number, All India Rank (AIR), Score and Marks (out of 100)
  • After successful enrollment, the system will send a username and password to the candidate’s email ID.

Step 2: Log in

  • Applicants must enter their User ID and password sent by email to log in again.
  • Applicants must become the given password to one that is suitable for them.
  • After logging in, applicants should fill up the items left to complete the GATE 2022 application information.
  • Candidates must check all the filled-in details before presenting the application form.

Step 3: Upload the photograph and signature.

Applicants must upload their signatures and photograph as instructed. The dimensions and specifications for the same are given below.





Recent, passport-size color photograph (not older than 3 months). Photographs in caps/hats/dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headgear (if any) must not cover the face.

Step 4: Payment of the application fee

  • After uploading the records and submitting the application form assuredly, applicants should wait for 24 hours to execute the payment.
  • Female/ Pwd/ SC/ST candidates need not pay the fees and can immediately go to the print option to print their application form.
  • The employment fees of Rs 300 are to be paid online through Internet Banking/Debit/Credit Card only from State Bank Collect System.
  • Applicants must note the 10-digit Transaction Reference Number starting with DU generated after paying for their future reference.
