BEL Recruitment 2022: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer on its official website, www.bel-india.in. BEL has notified to fill a total of 150 vacancies for the Project Engineer & Trainee Engineer. Out of the total number of vacancies notified for BEL recruitment 2022,  vacancies 80 are for Trainee Engineers while 70 vacancies are for Project Engineer posts. The selection for BEL recruitment will be made through graduation marks, work experience (mandatory for project engineers) and interview.

The full form of BEL is Bharat Electronics Limited. It is an Indian Government-owned aerospace and defence electronics company. It mainly produces cutting-edge electrical goods for use in ground and aircraft applications. One of the nine PSUs under the Indian Ministry of Defense is BEL. The Indian government has given it Navratna status.

In 1954, Bharat Electronics Limited was established in Bengaluru, India's Karnataka state. BEL began making a small amount of communication equipment in 1956, and with assistance from the Soviet Union, it soon began manufacturing receiving valves, germanium semiconductors, and radio transmitters for AIR.

• B.E / B. Tech Engineering Degree certificate indicating the discipline and marks obtained
• Marks of all semester or consolidated marksheet
• Caste / Tribe / Community / Disability / Economic status certificate. OBC category candidates should produce the certificate issued on or after 01.08.2020.
• Post qualification work experience certificate/s from previous/current employer.
• Candidates working on a permanent/fixed tenure basis in PSUs / Govt. organizations should apply through the proper channel or produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of the interview.

Educational Qualification for BEL Trainee & Project Engineer

• 4 years full-time B. E/B. Tech engineering degree in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication / Communication/ Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronic Engineering. 
• General, OBC and EWS candidates should have passed 1st class degree.
•  SC, ST and PwD candidates should have at least a Pass class degree in engineering.

BEL Recruitment 2022 Age Relaxation

The upper age limit is relaxable for the following category of candidates. 

•  SC & ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years
• PWD candidates with 40% disability or more: 10 years

Work Experience for BEL Recruitment

Post qualification Experience as on 01.08.2022 for BEL recruitment is mandatory for the post of BEL project engineer post. Having prior work experience will be a parameter for the selection process. 

BEL Trainee Engineer Work Experience

• Fresher Engineering Graduates who have passed their 8th semester can apply for BEL recruitment as per the engineering discipline. 
• Candidates should produce their degree certificate at the time of joining (the probable date of joining is October 2022).

BEL Project Engineer Work Experience

• It is mandatory to have 2 years post qualification industrial work experience for the BEL project engineer post. 
• Candidates must produce supporting documents of work experience. 
• Candidates having teaching or research experience cannot apply. 

The selection process for BEL recruitment 2022 will be done on a merit basis. The selection will be done in three stages:

• Marks scored in B. E/B. Tech
• Work Experience
• Personal Interview

A merit list will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate percentage obtained by you in your graduation, work experience. Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio for the interview. 

Bharat Electronics Limited has invited applications for the BEL recruitment process of Trainee and Project Engineer. The discipline-wise vacancy distribution for BEL recruitment 2022 is given below in the table.

BEL salary 2022 for engineers will be given as mentioned below in the table. In addition to the following given salary, the candidates will be given a consolidated amount of Rs. 10,000/ per year as medical insurance premium, attire allowance, stitching charges, footwear allowance, etc. 

Selected candidates are required to be covered under a medical insurance scheme for Rs.2 lakhs and Rs.5 lakhs for life insurance scheme per annum which is to be submitted at the time of joining.

Terms of Engagement for BEL Trainee & Project Engineer

Project Engineer: Project Engineer - I will be engaged for an initial period of 3 years, which may be extended up to maximum of One year (Maximum tenure of 4 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 45,000/- for 2nd year, Rs. 50,000/- for 3rd year and in the event of extension of contract Rs. 55,000/- for 4th year. 

Trainee Engineer: Trainee Engineer - I will be engaged for an initial period of 2 years, which may be extended up to maximum of One year (Maximum tenure of 3 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs. 35,000/- for 2nd year and in the event of extension of contract Rs. 40,000/- for the 3rd year.  

The candidates who will be shortlisted on the basis of their CGPA and work experience will be called to appear for the BEL interview for the post they have applied for. The call letter for BEL Trainee Engineer and Project Engineer will be uploaded on the official website of BEL. Candidates would require a BEL application number and password to download BEL admit card 2022.

BEL result 2022 for Project Engineer and Trainee Engineer will be released stage-wise. First, the conducting authority will release the result for the candidates who will be shortlisted to appear for the interview and, later on, the final result.
