GATE ECE application process started on 30 August 2022 after the release of the information brochure. Candidates will have to register in the GOAPS portal to start filling out the application form. The live link for the registration process is made available on the official website. To apply online for the GATE ECE exam, candidates must visit the GOAPS website.
To register on the website, candidates will use their Full Name, a valid e-mail address, mobile number, and a password of their choice. Afterwards, they must log in using the Enrollment ID and the chosen password. Then candidates can fill out the application form with all the required details. Further, they must upload the scanned documents, passport-size photographs, and signatures as per the specifications. Candidates will also need to pay the application fee based on their category.

The GATE ECE exam 2023 will be conducted in an online mode and will carry a total of 100 marks with a total exam duration of 3 hours. The GATE ECE selection process 2023 begins with a computer-based test (CBT). The result comes in the form of a score that is valid for three years from the date of the announcement of the results for admission in Post Graduate Programs and valid for 1 to 2 years for recruitment in PSUs.
