NWDA Educational Qualification Criteria

The educational qualification for the post of LDC, UDC, Steno, Hindi Translator, Jr. Account Officer, and JE  have been mentioned below. 

Educational Qualification for NWDA LDC

  • Candidates should be Class 12th passed from a recognized Board from any stream.
  • Having a speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer

Other Desirable Requirements

Candidates must have knowledge of Computer operating systems, MS Word, Office, Excel, PowerPoint & the Internet.

Educational Qualification for NWDA UDC

  • Candidates should have a degree of a recognized University in any discipline.

Educational Qualification for NWDA Junior Accounts Officer (JAO)

Candidates applying for this post should have a degree in Commerce from a recognized University/Institute.

Work Experience for NWDA JAO post

Work experience of three years is essential in Cash and Accounts in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body. 

Educational Qualification for NWDA Junior Engineer (JE)

Candidates should have a diploma in Civil Engineering (CE) or equivalent from a recognised University or equivalent. 

Other Desirable qualification for NWDA JE

A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent is desirable from a recognised University or equivalent.

Educational Qualification for NWDA Stenographer Grade II

  • Candidates should have passed their 12th Class from a recognized Board/University in any discipline. 
  • Knowledge of shorthand is a must at the speed of 80 wpm for a skill test on a computer.

Educational Qualification for NWDA Hindi Translator

For the post of NWDA Hindi Translator, candidates should have any one of the following educational qualifications.

  • Candidates should have obtained a Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or Hindi/English as the medium of examination at the degree level

           AND

  • A diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa is necessary 

OR

  • Two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office is required.

Age Relaxation for NWDA Recruitment 2021

All the candidates who belong to the reserved category of posts will be given age relaxation as per of the Govt. Of India guidelines. However, such candidates will have to bring the relevant documents when needed.

  • To apply for the post of LDC in NWDA recruitment, you must be a Graduate in any discipline and have a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.
