DSSSB LDC Selection Process 2022

DSSSB LDC Selection Process is important for the candidates who will be applying for the DSSSB Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) or Lower Division Clerk post in the Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB). The selection process for the DSSSB LDC 2022 will be released by the DSSSB in the recruitment notifications as per the post for which the candidates are applying. To be eligible for an appointment in DSSSB for the post of Jr. Secretariat Asst. a candidate has to qualify several stages of the recruitment process.

DSSSB LDC Junior Assistant Selection Process

The DSSSB LDC selection process will comprise a one-tier examination to be held online. Under the One-Tier examination scheme, candidates will have to appear for only One online-based test on the basis of which a merit list will be prepared. Candidates, in order to be considered for the merit list, have a score of minimum qualifying marks after which the merit list will be prepared. Minimum Qualifying marks for one tier examination are listed below category wise:

The final merit of the qualified candidates will be made on the basis of cutoff marks which will be decided by the conducting authorities. In any case, any two candidates score equal marks then selection will be made on the following basis for both technical and non-technical posts:

Selection Criteria in case of Tie

For Technical Post

For Non-Technical

Candidates securing higher marks in specific subjects will be placed higher in merit.

In case of equal marks, candidates senior in age will be considered higher in merit.

In the case of the same age, the candidates whose name comes first alphabetically will be considered.

Candidates senior in age will be placed higher in the merit list. 

In case, the age is the same, then the candidates whose name comes first will be considered first for the post

DSSSB LDC Selection Process for Tier 1 & 2

The DSSSB LDC selection process will have only one-tier. However, DSSSB Head Clerk will have two tiers. DSSSB LDC Selection Process FAQs

  • No, there will not be any interview for the DSSSB LDC Junior Assistant post.

  • The DSSSB Exam for LDC would be held in Tier I only. However, the DSSSB Head Clerk will have two tiers.

  • The DSSSB LDC Junior Assistant Paper will be for a total of 200 marks.

  • The final selection will be made through merit based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Tier-1/Tier-2 examination. Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks in order to be considered for final merit list.

  • The selection in the case of a tie will be made on the basis of other factors like marks in other subjects, age of the candidates, and name of the candidates. In the case of a technical post, the marks will be considered first after which age will be considered. In the case of non-technical posts, candidates senior in age will be given higher preference.
