IES ECE Selection Process 2023 For Prelims

The ESE Prelims exam is the first stage of the UPSC IES selection process 2023 for Electronics and Communication Engineering. IES ECE Selection Process 2023 For Mains

The ESE Mains exam is the second stage of the UPSC IES selection process 2023 for Electronics and Communication Engineering 2023. The candidates who qualify for the IES ECE Prelims exam will move to the next phase, the Mains Exam, which is descriptive.

  • The medium of the IES Electronics and Communication Engineering Mains exam is English.
  • Similar to the IES Electronics and Communication Engineering prelims exam, the IES ECE Mains exam will also have two papers. However, both the papers will have questions on ECE subjects only that you studied in your graduation.
  • To qualify for the IES Electronics and Communication Engineering Mains exam, you must thoroughly use the IES ECE syllabus and exam pattern in detail.

IES ECE Selection Process 2023 For Interview

The UPSC IES selection process 2023 for Electronics & Telecommunication also comprises a personality test/Interview, which is the last stage. Candidates qualifying for the IES Electronics and Communication Engineering exam for the Prelims and Mains exam will be eligible for the personality test/ Interview after filling up the detailed application form.

  • The personality test/ Interview personality test is for a total of 200 marks.
  • The UPSC will conduct the personality test and document Verification simultaneously.
  • Candidates must carry all the documents in original and a photocopy of the same for the IES Electronics and Communication Engineering personality test.

IES ECE Selection Process 2023 - Final Selection

According to the IES selection process 2023 for Electronics and Communication Engineering, all those candidates who qualify in the ESE ECE Prelims, Mains, and Personality Test will be considered for the final selection. The UPSC will make the final selection for the IES ECE 2023 exam based on the marks secured by the candidates in the ESE Prelims, Mains, and Interview.
