BARC ECE Recruitment 2021: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has released the official notification for recruitment to the post of Scientific Officer through OCES-2021 (Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates) and DGFS-2021 (DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates and Physics Postgraduates). Candidates having the required eligibility criteria to apply for BARC Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) for Scientific Officer can do so by applying online from 12th July to 7th August 2021.
Candidates will be selected through an online written test or GATE 2020/2021 scores followed by an interview. The selected candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officers in any of the DAE units or Atomic Energy Regulatory Board after the completion of OCES/DGFS course. 1) Appointment in all the units shall be as a Scientific Officer ‘C’ (SO/C) in the Level 10 - ₹ 56,100 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix.
2) Monthly emoluments (with three increments) at the time of joining including Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, etc. at the present Mumbai rate, will be approximately ₹95,000.
The selection process for BARC ECE for the post of scientific officer will be through two stages:
Stage 1: Online written test or GATE scores of 2020 or 2021
Stage 2: Personal Interview
The BARC exam pattern for Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) is conducted in online mode and is of objective type.
BARC Syllabus for Scientific Officer will have the questions on the Graduation level for the written test. The question paper will be based on the questions of their chosen subject as per the qualification. However, the exam will not have any questions on your knowledge of General Knowledge, General English, and Quantitative Aptitude.
The admit card for BARC 2021 exam for the written test will be available on the official website of the BARC i.e. www.barconlineexam.in. The call letter for BARC scientific officer will have details related to the exam such as exam centre address, exam date and time, your name & photograph as well as other important details.
The BARC ECE result for the scientific officer will be announced after the exam has been concluded. BARC ECE result will be declared in the form of a merit list, with the names of candidates who will qualify the written test. The candidates qualifying the written test will be called to appear for the interview.
