GATE ECE Score Card 2023

IIT Kanpur has announced the release date for the GATE ECE Score Card. It is usually issued within a week of the announcement of the results. Candidates will be able to check their scorecards beginning on 21 March 2023. For qualified applicants, the table below covers all of the important dates for the GATE ECE score card 2023.

Once the GATE ECE Scorecard 2023 is released, all candidates who have qualified for the exam must download the scorecard. Below are the steps to download GATE ECE Scorecard 2023 for reference.

• Go to the official GOAPS website.
• At the homepage, click the 'download GATE Scorecard 2023' option.
• Login by entering your registered email ID/ registration number and password.
• If a candidate has qualified successfully for the exam, he/ she will be able to view and download the scorecard. Once GATE Electronics and Communication Scorecard 2023 is displayed on your screen, the download button is at the bottom of the screen.
• Once a candidate has downloaded their scorecard, he/ she should save a soft copy on their computer and take a printout for future references.

Once candidates have downloaded the GATE ECE Score Card 2023, they will see the following information.

• Name of the candidate and his/her photograph
• GATE Registration Number
• Gender
• Name of the GATE paper
• GATE 2023 score out of 1000
• Marks out of 100
• All India Rank in the appeared paper
• Qualifying Marks for different categories
• Number of candidates who appeared for the particular paper

Calculation of GATE ECE scores is done very systematically. The actual or raw marks obtained after evaluation of the response sheets are used to calculate the score for those subjects for which the exam was conducted in only one session. For this score calculation, a specific mathematical formula is used that uses raw marks and the qualifying marks as variables. The method for determining scores for those subjects for which the ECE exam was conducted in more than one session is slightly different. For multisession papers, raw marks are first converted into normalized marks using a mathematical formula, and then the normalized mark (M) is used to calculate normalized GATE ECE scores.

On the day of the result release, the qualifying marks, also known as the cut-off marks, will be announced. Below are the cut-off points from previous years. Candidates can see the cut-offs for numerous categories from the prior year below. Once the exam results are available online, the cutoff marks will be disclosed. The GATE ECE Score Card is quite important for all applicants who will pass the examination. With a qualified GATE ECE Score Card, the candidate will have an advantage over other candidates when applying for higher education or a career.
