SSC CGL Shift 1 Exam Analysis 2022 - 18th April Review, Difficulty Level

SSC CGL Shift 1 Analysis 2022 (18th April): SSC CGL 2022 Tier 1 Exam started on April 11th throughout the country and will continue till April 21st, 2022. Today is the fourth day of the SSC CGL exam, i.e. 18th April 2022 and the first shift is over now. The exam lasted for 60 minutes, with the first shift beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 10 a.m. We are here with the detailed and comprehensive SSC CGL Shift 1 Analysis 2022 conducted on the 18th of April 2022. 

In this article, we are providing SSC CGL Shift 1 Analysis 2022, the overall and section-wise Difficulty level of the SSC CGL 2022 exam, good number of attempts and the memory-based questions asked in the SSC CGL Shift 1 2022.

  • Overall the difficulty level of the exam was Moderate.
  • Good Number of attempts can be taken as 76 - 87
  • The difficulty order of sections is as follows: Reasoning > Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness> English.
  • As per students' feedback, Quantitative Section was moderate and 2 - 3 questions were calculative like Cube questions from mensuration, Table and Chair questions from Profit loss etc.
  • English was the easiest section and the question pattern remained the same.
  • Cloze test was based on the story of a Fox and a Camel. Vocabulary questions were easy. 
  • Reasoning Section was moderate. Students could solve 20-21 questions easily but struggled to solve 4-5 questions, especially the finding the missing term questions based on a matrix. 
  • General awareness was moderate in difficulty level. 
  • There were 4 - 5 current affairs questions that were asked mainly from books and authors, budget and sports.

English section was the easiest section to attempt for students out of all sections. Students could easily attempt 21 - 23 questions and even some students have also attempted all 25 questions.  English Cloze test was based on the story of Fox and Camel. Vocabulary based questions were easy to solve. Question Pattern remains the same as seen in previous shifts.

  • Overall the difficulty level of the exam was Moderate.
  • Good Number of attempts can be taken as 77 - 87
  • The difficulty order of sections is as follows: Quantitative Aptitude > Reasoning >  General Awareness> English.
  • As per students' feedback, Quantitative Section was moderate and 3 - 4 questions were calculative.

  • The difficulty order of the sections was as follows: Quantitative Aptitude > General Awareness > Reasoning > English language & Comprehension.
  • Overall, students could attempt as many as 78 - 86
  • Quant Section was Moderate but a few questions were a bit calculative but doable. 
  • English continues to be the favourite section of students and was the easiest to solve.
  • English Cloze test was based on the story of old man living in a village. 
  • General awareness section was moderate.  
  • In general awareness, only 4 - 5 current affairs questions were there. Questions from 2020 current affairs as well about the Nobel Prize for Literature 2022. 
  • Reasoning was moderate, around 1-2 questions were tricky.
